Journey to 2k/month (Amazon Affiliate)

Hello BHW, this is going to be yet another meathead's inspired journey thread. I recently stumbled upon his money making thread and I must say, it was written perfectly. That's why I decided to dedicate this thread towards that method and master it as much as I can. I've seen a few people do it already, but I guess there's nothing bad if I make one of my own thread on that method.


What's my plan:


Plan is really simple.


- Search a niche that I can relate to.
- Do a little research on niche and see if it's trending.
- Do a little keyword research on SEMRUSH.
- Pick 5 keywords related to that niche.
- Pick a domain name.
- Choose a hosting for my website.
- Order 5 articles.
- Set up a wordpress themed blog.
- Add plugin ins and set up persona.
- Push for traffic using forums and other sources.


What's my goal:


Obviously my goal is to start making money with this method and ultimate goal would be to $2000 per month, until the end of this year.

Before you start, I would advise you to have a definite goal & strategy for your last bullet point "getting traffic".
Anyone can make a WP site, anyone can do design & create something fancy... but very few succeed because they fail at getting traffic.
So before you waste a single minute on your website, figure out what you're going to do about traffic -- make sure it's something you can do for 8 hours every day (unless you're going to buy traffic).

I understand that and again I trully believe that it's going to be a great learning process. Obviously I won't be giving out my traffic methods for various reason. However I plan to do a few and see which traffic method suits better and brings in more traffic and from there I will continue to master it. If you do have any suggestions, I would be more then happy to hear it out.

Excuse the double post, but I have an update.

- I have found a niche that I want to target.
- Found 5 keywords I want to rank for. Main keyword has volume of 22k.
- Registered a domain and acquired a hosting place for my blog.
- Ordered 10 articles.

Right, now I keep on reading the thread and waiting for my articles to be delivered. It might take up to 7 days.
