Even with so many views , it is not guaranteed to make much money. An answer with 10000 views can give more earnings that such a question stats.
I think a question will generate money for 1 year. They have not said anything about how long the program will continue.

Yes, a question pays for one year from posting. So if they discontinue today, they should still run it for an year from now.

Little comparison from the beginning of the thread
I’m really happy and hope to reach my goal (1000€ with Quora) soon.
Nearly 25€/day for 30 minutes of work yesterday - but actually this is not correct.
I asked 506 questions over the past few weeks and I only got 2 winners (questions that made over 20€ already). These two winners have one thing in common: they went viral. It’s probably like YouTube - you make videos everyday and eventually with consistency you‘ll have one video that’s getting the majority of views.
Just a few observations I made (and some tips):
Yes, you get more money for questions in foreign languages and you can ask easier ones BUT my most successful questions are in the English segment. Why? Because they have a much higher chance to get viral!
I can only speak for the German program but it’s harder to find questions that get a lot of views and answers. If(!) I find a good one, I‘ll get more money but often I get no views and answers at all.
I won’t go into much detail for obvious reasons, but questions like those @SocialManager quoted here in the thread are indeed winners. They’re controversial and unlike highly technical questions (which can also be successful) people feel more free to answer those.
Tbh I usually give a sh*** about the answers I get but when I looked at my winners I saw that people really discussed with each other what’s right or wrong.
So these were my 2 cents for today

Are you posting in English platform. Also, 40 questions is small number for this.
Yeah English platform. I would have felt motivated if I would have made some pennies

Have you also experienced the problem that a lot of your questions got merged by the Quora bot? That’s what happened to me a lot in the beginning
I started today. I have not experienced that. I will ask around 500 questions in next 6 days.. if I dont make any money, I will sell my account

Solution to this is to leave questions shown as similar when you type the question .

The previous day I earned $0.29. $15.00 from 2,700 views. So, either it's a bug, or Quora just started showing ads on all my questions or something. I am very confused. I hope it is real but I don't believe it until I get paid. My ban ends tomorrow too so I can start posting questions again.
Anyone else have weird earnings for yesterday?

Good luck! I got accepted in Quora Italy (native speaker thanks to God) and I know how to trigger some activity with political questions in my country. Made about €1,55 with very few questions, I'll keep updated of you want to add me to this journey =)
Btw, some tricks are to abuse trends to make questions and some CTA words ("what would you do"). Try to talk about hot and delicate topics such as politic, lgbt thing, women rights.. etc

Don’t give up. My first day I made 3 cents from 20 questions, same for the next days and I also faced these annoying merged questions. As posted before if you see a similar question while typing, better choose another one. Think of unique situations or let’s take for example the Release of a new smartphone in a few days; you could ask a question like : ‚ why should I choose (new smartphone) instead of (other phone)?‘
