Long time lurker here, like since 4 years or something like that.
I've been trying on and off some techniques made here, but nothing really worked. Well in fact, I bailed out and went back to slacking off on games and so on. The good thing is that I learned a lot, tons of stories, tons of tips, tons of business tips that worked and others that didn't worked. Well at that time I was ready to learn but not to earn anything.
But finaly, my day to day job fed me up, I wanted some challenge. I wanted some change. Soooo I finally registered like one month ago as I am finally ready to take action and make it happen! So today I officially created my digital marketing agency. Let's put all that knowledge to good use and sell that a premium price!
Basically my plan is to sell marketing services such as SEO packs, but also some twists on my own.
I'm opening this thread to keep me motivated, and hopefully motivate others. Because, well, after all I'm a serial procrastinator.
Anyway, onto the journey:
Week 1:
I closed a client. It's a small, not paying well type of client. Seriously he is a douche. But well at least I've made 50$ from him.
I also created a small website to promote my services. I use that mainly to look professionnal when I pitch potential buyers. Because some ask for it. (cost around 15$)
I also aproached like 25+ people. And I've probably closed a well paying prospect for the coming days. The prospect has lot of needs I can fullfill, and I estimated I can sell it 2x higher price as he really need that done.
I'll try to update once a week. If I fail, well, maybe I started playing games again
