Well, I'm starting to write this a little later then I should have, because I have now been working on this current project for two months, but oh well... I have never done a journey thread so I want to give it a shot.

Here's a little background information on me..
I'm 26 years old, male, from Tampa Florida, and I have had a passion for internet marketing ever sense I have been using the computer.
I've made a couple grand here and there with different things on the internet, but never by creating a sales funnel like I'm currently working on..

My goal with making this thread is to share my journey, obviously, but to also get some constructive criticism as I go!

The end result will (hopefully) be a sales funnel that goes like this (in this order)
*Landing page (with a button to send people to a sales page for "my" e-book or they can click blog)
*Blog (with optinbox to build list, a products page that will be selling products as an affiliate for jvzoo)
*One of the tabs on the blog will say "Reviews", which will lead to a different domain, which will be my review site, where I do reviews on upcoming software thats coming out

So far, I have gotten the blog 90% complete, and just started working on getting the products page perfect.
This should take a few more days to finish the blog and all its tabs 100%,
The next step will be to start developing the review site.

Will post updates soon!

Good luck, keep thread alive with updates ;)

This will be intresting, "I've made a couple grand here and there" you're talking about my dreams like pocket change

I have been dabbling in internet marketing sense I was 16... So it has been ten years.. And the ways people market now are completely different then the things I was doing 10 years ago :P

Update:

Well, the reason I haven't posted anything sense the first post is because something went wrong and I ended up having to redo my blog when it was 90% complete.
I have finally finished with the blog and its all pages except the product page.

Today I sent e-mail to teknikforce saying I wanted to become an affiliate through jvzoo and asking if I could use their products on my products page (I have bought many of their products in the past and I think they provide high quality software!)

Should be finishing the product page either today or tomorrow, and that will complete the first phase of this project (the blog)
Next I will start working on my review site... I haven't picked out a theme that I am going to be using for this yet... suggestions would be greatly appreciated :)

Also have decided to use 27 funnels.. will go more into detail about this next post.

What the math behind 1,000 per day?
How long will it take?
What do you mean whats the math? That comes out to 41$ an hour lol.

Wow 1000$ a day. So ambitious. Keep up the good work.
I never said the journey to get to this point was going to be a short one. I might still be posting on this thread in a year from now trying to get to 1000$ a day. Lets hope not though :P

UPDATE

My blog is 99% complete. Yesterday I paid to have an animated explainer video made that I will be putting on the "Hire me" page on my blog.
Today I begin trying to pick out the review theme I am going to use... I have been trying to decide if I want to have a custom review theme designed, but I have never had a custom theme designed before so I kinda worry about it. Does anyone have thoughts on this? Is it worth it to have someone design a completely unique theme for a review site? It seems like it would probably take a decent amount of time and money to have one created and i'm in a hurry to get things going!

I would say just get things going, get analytics from the start and when you decide it's time for an upgrade you also have some data to base design decisions on.
