Journey to $100 per day

No sales yet today, but the clicks are still coming in at a steady pace. I'm having a hard time figuring out the traffic source of the clicks though. The affiliate website says my money site was the main source of clicks last few days even though google analytics shows way less traffic than the affiliate website shows coming in.

does anyone have another way to track, or are the certain things GA doesn't show?? I just want to understand where the influx of traffic over the last 48 hours is from.

Okay so I've been incredibly busy this past month working on my new affiliate website. I built up a website for my niche and launched it Oct 13th. I decided with this website that I would do it white hat so every day I've been manually backlinking and so far ahrefs has me at 180. This last week I've been really focusing on web 2.0's writing around 200 words on each with some contextual links back to my money site. The one thing I neglected this past week is that those 2.0 sites were orphaned so I just started up GSA tonight and started building backlinks to my 2.0's. My money site has my main keywords ranking in the top 50 so hopefully these 2.0's help..

It's been a long time since I checked my clickbank account as I've been more focused on my website.. My first post I was talking about making CB + YT videos and although I put some effort in, I kind of forgot about them.. Decided to check CB tonight and at the beginning of November I made two sells totaling $53! Talk about more motivation, I'm about to throw my YT videos in GSA and see if I can maybe get those ranking too. Nice little surprise for a video I made, uploaded, and haven't touched since August! Well I've made $60 online so far, first $100 HERE I COME!

Update:

I've been going back and building up my web 2.0's adding more pages and content as my keywords are slowly moving up the ranks, I also started a Tier 3 backlink campaign in GSA. Tomorrow I'm going to make a 2 - 5 minute how to video related to my niche and start uploading that onto different video sites w/ links back to the money site, shooting for 10 video sites over the next week or two; hopefully those give my page 2 keywords enough boost to make the first page.

I also got another sale today earning me $7.65 commission bringing my total earned to $68, but damn I can't wait to make my first $100, so close!! I hope things keep heading in this direction and that the sales continue to pick up because I'm starting to feel a little excited!!

Not a bad idea, I was thinking about starting am instagram account as well. I haven't done much research into FB marketing so maybe I'll take a shot at it.
 
Update:

I've been working on my web 2.0's the last few days and a few of them have started to index, and my website seems to be dancing around on google. I also got another sell from CB + YT for $20!! That's three CB sales this month, so I think I'm gonna revisit the CB + YT method a bit. I might throw a few more videos up if I find the right products so I'll start researching that in my free time. My main goal is still to build links and rank my affiliate website, but multiple sources of income is whats up!

Yesterday I put together a little testimonial video for a weight loss ebook from CB.. I've legit lost 85lbs+ and used my transformation pics so I'm hoping this helps me out since I know it's a competitive niche.

My affiliate site also got another sale tonight for just under $7 so my total is now sitting around $95! Not much but each sale gets me more and more excited. I've been slacking the past few days building links but I really need to scale things up so I'm planning to get back on that bandwagon to get those keywords ranking. I can't believe this is actually working, and I hope I continue to see this grow!! The future might not be so bad after all :cool:

Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving, and took some time off work to relax! I've been doing some link building to my affiliate website and although my keywords jump around like crazy, one of them is sitting solid at #11, so hopefully I hit page one any day now. I started up new GSA campaigns for my YT + CB videos since I saw a few sales come in, until my videos dropped off the front page, but GSA got it back up on the front page of Google under a competitors video, I'm trying to take that spot. :fight:
The YT video I talked about in last post hasn't really done much in rankings, but I still have GSA pumping away so we'll see what happens; its possible the product might be over saturated but failure isn't really an option, so we always gotta keep going. I found a new high paying product on CB and watched it for a few days as the gravity started to rise and the landing page looks nice and professional so I made another review video. I was able to get it to front of Google within 24 hours, so I'm hoping to keep this spot, and that maybe this guys product starts to take off over the next few months. I've already pulled in 50 views and 15 hops in 24 hours so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I hope I'm not sacrificing all this time for nothing.

Update:

Woke up this morning to another sale from my website for $13 and change which is always a nice feeling. Sleeping and making money, no complaints from me haha. My total made is now $109.11 so I finally passed my first $100!!! Thank you BHW I'm excited to see where this is going.

Okay I've been busy as hell this week building up my GSA campaigns for the YT videos, and one of my affiliate websites. I decided to churn and burn my first affiliate site since I didn't build the best tier 1 links, and it seems to be working. The churn and burn has me ranking for a few keywords searched 300+ times, and I'm two spots away from page 1 on my main keyword which is searched 6000+ per mo. I've been getting some good organic / targeted traffic this way, and got another sale today from the site making me $23.97! I feel like every day I'm getting closer to my goal of one sale per day. I'm addicted, and this is for me, and the career I want. I will dedicate myself to this until I see my dreams come true.

Happy Holidays everybody, I haven't been around for an update but of course I've been crazy busy working on the business. I have been toying around more with CB + YT and GSA making some videos and seeing what ranks and what doesn't. I've also been toying around with making review blogs for CB products and trying to SEO to first page, I just made the first blog yesterday so we'll see how that goes. I went awhile without a sale but picked up another $8 on my affiliate website, nothing crazy but it does motivate me and make me feel good. I've been building up a GSA campaign for my website, using the best spinner to manually spin a 500 word unique article with contextual links, images and videos. I'm working on the tier 2 project now and will continue to try and play things safe. I'm hoping to be around 1 sale per day average by February.. We'll see how it goes lol.

Just got another commission for $14.23 from the affiliate site, I've really been scaling things up and it seems to be paying off as I'm one spot away from first page of google for a main keyword (5000+ searcher per mo). I'm hoping to hit first page in next week or two, and then continue climbing while I work on ranking my other two sites. Gonna go look for a killer CB product to promote now as well. My two sources of income are going to be affiliate websites and cb+yt.

Well it's nice to be ending out the year on another sale from the website! Made another $25.68 and I'm feeling good!! That's five sales for the month, and since starting this journey my website has had consistent growth month to month. I'm hoping to continue the momentum into 2015 with my first goal being to break my first $100 month in Jan. With the latest sale I'm sitting at $85.50 for Dec, so I feel $100 in Jan is totally doable. 2015 has gotta be a life changing year for me... I need it, and want it more then anything right now. Let's see what happens.

Hope everyone had a safe New Years! I'm starting off the year strong breaking new records..... Got my first two sales in one day, sweet baby Jesus someone pinch me this can't be real. SEO can't truly be this powerful, can it? Just messing around, I seriously can't believe that finally after almost five months of grinding away I'm starting to see some consistent sales role through, things are definitely moving in the right direction. At this point one sale a day by end of Feb seems totally possible, just gotta keep my eyes on the prize. Thanks again BHW, you are my people, and my new home, helping me change my life one day at a time. I wish I found you guys five years ago but better late then never ;)

Alright so for some reason this sale has me cracking up. Earlier this week I was on fiverr and saw a ridiculous gig that had over 80 reviews... I couldn't believe it, and it had zero competition so I decided to make a quick gig. I made my offer slightly more lucrative than the other guys, and activated it. Now I was planning on paying a few people here for reviews when I got paid, but this gig was getting traffic on its own, and today after only 14 clicks I got a sale. I had actually forgot that gig even existed until I got the email. I already delivered and asked the guy to leave a review so hopefully he leaves 5 stars and maybe that can bring me a few more sales.
