[Journey] Startiing a pay per lead website.

Hi,

For my first real SEO adventure I will start a pay per lead business,
I will basically start website in a niche and try to sell each call for a price to a real business.

My maximum budget is 4000euros, could be upgraded in 6 month if I see some good traffic/conversions.

I will write all the content myself as I couldn't find a good writer for an abordable price, and because I know that I will be more implicated as it's my project.

What I have done :

Creating GMB (hope that's not going to be suspended)

What I have to do :

Looking for a good wordpress devloppement service.(If someone know don't hesitate to show me)
Starting to write the article (I will try to write 5 article per week)I will start with low competition keyword.

In the first 6 month I will try without linkbuilding to check if content is king.

The real objective is to unboss myself (I could do it as a talend dev' but I dislike etl and coding)

Hey, even if I don't have followers ( I think that's is due to my bad writing skills in english)

I will update this journey as it will makes me accountable.

Update 09/01/2021 :

I decided that I will not sell the leads but open the business in the niche of the blog.

Why I'm not going to go for the pay per leads model finally ?

Small and medium business are a fucking headache when it comes to seo. (I'm currently doing payperleads for one client in my home country)

Also I find it stupid to work to increase the the revenue of someone else.

I want to be free I don't want to be dependent of the behaviour of a third party.

The change is that I have some money to invest (approx 2k6 euros) thanks to a customer that paid me.

I will invest 2k in content (I'm currently testing some writers in my language) and the last 600 euros in ads when the site will be furnished with quality content.

As I said earlier the real purposes of this journey is to unboss myself (and to be rich by the same occasion)

Holy crap first time I have ever seen a fellow ETL developer on here! I go back and forth between informatica and SSIS.

I have also considered doing this, I enjoy ETL development and make more being a consultant.

My englis sucks so I will not target USA. Even If I will not write the articles I need to be able to check if the content provided is qualitative.

Ahahahah Informatica. Never worked with this tool but I've heard about it.

UPDATE 13/01/2022

Ordered some content with two cheap writers.

One was from a third world country and the content was way better than the content provided by french people.
The other writer is retired woman, the content is ok but I have to edit it a little bit and I'm sure that soon she will increase her price.

Of course I have to always edit a bit the content !

I have to setup the wordpress by myself because I have ordered a wordpress website from a seller here but the quality of the service was poor, so I will do it alone ( Remember I'm developer) even if I'm very bad for design !

I hope that I will be able to activate at least three gmb, I have already one, the letter for the second is in on the road but I have to leave soon the airbnb where I'am living, I'm scared that I will not be able to take the letter...

The good news is one of the customer for who I'am providing GMB services (I'm doing that as a side hustle) is going to order again for something between 1.5k euros and 2.2k euros.

I will re-invest all this money in my project.

And I will start to count all the money invested since now !

Hello everyone, small update about my journey.

The ranking of my GMB is not very good as I lack of reviews.

I'm facing an issue, only 10 of my pages are indexed at the moment ( I have 30 pages in total). I'm writing an high quality content in my native language ( not using AI) and adding some infographics but for some reasons google wont index all my page and post.

I will wait a month and if I don't see improvement I will use indexing services even if I'm scared to use it in my money site.

I'm also thinking to start building backlink in two weeks to speed the process.

My budget has increased thanks to some freelancing gigs. I will allocate 10.000 euros, mainly in backlink, as I don't like the level of the writers that I hire (I pay 25/EUROS 1000 words).

If you outsource your articles you could save yourself a lot of time and then use that time to do something else

Sadly that's how the system works, whether it is staff members, providers or clients you are always linked to third party. So take it easy, be empathetic and enjoy your ride OP.

I don't see all the indexed pages.

I started to do backlink outreach but site owners are claiming for 500 euros.
I will never pay that price, I have to find some good contact for the french market.

Does someones have any idea where to find french backlinks (I would like to avoid PBN)

I got quite a few French guest post backlinks from a guy on Fiverr. There are several sellers to choose from.
 
Can you share with me the guy, even in private message.
Because I'm new to backlinking stuff.

Business is not really important as I'm just selling leads. Traffic is up but not that much only few keywords are providing 70% of the profit.

Word to mouth helped me to find good subcontractors.
I'm looking for subcontractors in Spain and France !
