[Journey] Road to 1000$ per month

Hello guys. This is my first Journey thread.
I want to tell you first I’m struggling for a long time to build some good niche websites that generates money. In the past, I didn’t pay much attention to Keyword Research, Link Building and everything else.

This forum teached me many things that now I think I’m ready to use.

About the website
Specific Game niche.

What I’ve done so far
Bought domain two weeks ago.
Bought 3000 word content from BHW Marketplace so I can use as landing page.
Wrote 3 articles 800-1100 words.
Created logo, featured images for all 3 post
Created social pages fb+twitter
Spammed the link on fb using Sites.Google for redirect (to avoid domain ban on fb)

Investments until today: 170$ (wp theme+dedicated server+1 article+domain)

I plan to monetize with Google Ads in the future.

What I’m gonna do next:
Posting 1 article per day (this niche doesn’t require many articles but updating homepage everyday)
Buy a good guest post package related to my niche (after finishing with the content)
Creating yt channel+pinterest

I will give information about traffic beginning with next week because there isn’t much to see now just some fb clicks.

I think on seo page + speed is good optimized. Waiting to see if buying link building will give me a boost in a few weeks.

I don’t want to get in details with it but you can search about web 2.0s on forum.

Update 13.04.2021

- 2 new articles added. 1200+ words and 800+
- bought some contextual links from bhw marketplace and blog comments
- already noticed in GSC that I have good KW I rank for but higher positions
- bought new VPS
- Getting gmetrix scores 98% and 96%
- improved LCP from 1.3s to 900 ms
- shared some pins on pinterest, fb group posts, twitter.

Budget: 25$

Nice journey

Thank you. Maybe I will get to CPA in the future as my competitors are using it as the main source of revenue, the only thing is that I don't wanna use CPA as I have to scam people on my niche like my competitors. I'm trying to provide just quality and real deals, but for now, I was thinking about Adsense.

Update 20, April 2021

So guys. Here I am with a short update.
What I have done more:
- Published one article 1200 words
- Worked on Web Vitals
- Created youtube channel
- Massively sharing on social media
- Bought one guest post niche-related for 10$

Im thinking of weekly updating this thread for my personal motivation. I need to stay motivated and think I will be no1 in this niche anytime soon. Maybe it's the "sandbox" period, however I don't believe in it's existence
I'm going to show GSC and Analytics from now on. There isn't much to see but.. who knows in the future





I'm also waiting for more suggestions & tips to rank & anything else you can recommend me in order to succeed. I'm always searching, discovering and testing new things to avoid my past failures. I don't want to fail again, this project means everything for me at the moment and if it's going to be a succes it's not just gonna change my whole life, but it will introduce me in IM world as I will have money to invest in many of my dream projects.

Hey guys! I'm back with some updates.
So first I'm going to tell you I'm really researching any possibility to rank on my niche. I'm always questioning, searching, and looking for answers for everything. I suggest everybody do this to achieve their goals - if you don't take action of what are you reading, experimenting with things, you won't do anything. Get on your PC, read something you're interested in, take some notes and start implementing everything.

I don't want to be misunderstood because of the title of the journey. My first goal is to reach 100$ dollars from Ads. I'm currently not registered on any ad platform like Google Adsense but I think in 1 month or so I will also consider it.
For the moment, my micro-niche website is doing really well. I don't want to repeat myself but I've improved my Web Vitals. I'll also consider changing my VPS to a bigger package for a little boost, all the featured images are done by myself in Photoshop using a specific layout for the brand to look good and natural. I'm also considering outreaching my content but at the moment I think I did good - I've checked other competitors' articles and I added a few things like a good internal structure, more pictures, more content on the matter and I avoided as much as I can spun content. At the moment, I consider my website the best in terms of almost everything but link building. The competitors have also some domain age and good link building history. I don't want to invest for now but I will surely do into some great guest posts & press releases maybe this summer. I want to mention this is a medium keyword I'm trying to rank for, it's not so easy. It was an easier keyword when I first started on this particular micro-niche but it seems it has exploded since I started also.

So, what I have done in these past days:
- Published one article (600+ words)
- Improving Web Vitals
- A few changes on homepage keywords.
- Creating a Youtube channel. This was a truly great decision to make. It's driving me around 150+ visits per day on my website and I have just a few videos. I plan to post 1 video per day. After 4 days, I have about 500 visits and 30+ subscribers. I consider Youtube a great source of traffics for my niche in a few months.
- Twitter deleted my account because of spamming. I was going on the idea of following the people following big players in the big niche, but that was a mistake. Now I don't even follow people and I developed a strategy myself and after 3 days of having my new Twitter, I'm already doing better than with the old account.
- Bought a great link-building service from @Peter Ngo (web 2.0s+indexer+article submissions and more). I bought the smallest package because I consider it good for a new website.
- Spamming a bit on Facebook groups. I do this because I see a small rise every day in direct traffic and it's somehow much related to this.

Your particular journey is inspiring because I am currently in the process of doing the same thing.

I have to ask what kind of Youtube videos are you making? Do they have Voice Overs? Is it just gameplay clips? Are you editing a lot?

Didn’t do much on recent days because I just have to wait some time because of sandbox period. I bought few backlinks again, optimised content on homepage and I will focus more on social and youtube next days
