Hello guys,
This is something that I wanted to do for a long time. I have been reading a lot on ranking sites on google but I was not able to find the right time. So finally I decided to start ranking a site.
Since I was a noob and keyword research was the most important part, I bought a keyword from here.

I got a home improvement keyword with 1300 searches/ month and CPC of $3 and the keyword competition is just 12 on kwfinder. So it looks like a nice keyword from the score.
I checked my main competitor for my keyword and I the site had a DA of 37 and their content was well written. They had about 2500 words for the article they ranked for this keyword. Also, it has a few backlinks relevant to the keyword. I am worried about the quality of the content my competitor has.
Their site speed is very slow so its an advantage for me.
What I have done so far
Bought a low competition keyword
Bought 4 years hosting from hostinger
Bought a FRESH NEW DOMAIN( Yes I only knew about a sandboxing today). Dumb move I guess.
Made 3000 word article by myself by researching about the niche and optimized it using yoast SEO. Got all the ticks for my article.
Made that article as the home page.
Made my site load under 3 seconds.
What I have to do
Write few more posts and interlink them.
Build Links by myself.
I will update what I have done every week
