[Journey] Ranking my first video on google

I do keyword research for a product beforehand and optimize my video title & description and tags based on that. As for the tracking, I use serpbook as someone already mentioned.

It is highly affordable and seem to provide good results.
Up until this point I spent something like 50$ on this ranking project (2*10$ package on drip feed when the vid was new and 1*20$ package not too long ago + indexification, serpbook etc.). But already made my first sale so
We will see what happens next. I think I will buy some more links in the near future, maybe some high PR ones to see if they are any good. Or maybe I will stick to this pyramid thing that I know is working I don't know yet.

Sorry for spamming my own thread lol So right now my best ranking keyword has danced back to the 11th spot. I'm not happy about that at all. We will see if it stays there. On the other hand, my other 3 keywords seem to have settled down on page 2. One of them is on the 12th, and 2 of them are on the 15th spot. I'm slowly reaching my budget, so for now I ordered another 20$ pyramid since that one had the most effect until now and it is the most I can afford now.
There are also good news. I requested a payout from clickbank, and they will deposit 107$ to my bank account next week. This is from my previous earnings from youtube only I also managed to get my hands on some cash IRL, I'll put it in my bank account as soon as I can.
I plan to use that money to buy more SEO services. I already know I can rank on the first page. But I feel like my vid needs a big, final push to get there for (preferably) all of my keywords. First I'll wait for my pyramid to be finished (7 days from now). And if it doesn't give me the final push I need I'll buy a stronger SEO service with good reviews from the 50-100$ price range. I already have one in mind but i'm still thinking about it

Hi, it has been a long time! I feel like I have to finish my journey with a post for it to be complete so here I go
I purchased a big SEO package as planned (this one to be exact - the smaller pack). While my package was being delivered I completely revamped my landing page, added two more products in the same niche so the visitors can pick the one they like the most. After the package got delivered I saw some nice improvements in ranking. I now have 4 keywords ranking on page 1, my best rank is #4 for my main keyword. The others are dancing around #6-10. Now this is not as good as I wanted originally, but being the only video on page 1 it still brings some decent traffic. The video gets around 20 visits a day, sometimes more sometimes less, and an average of 2-3 hops per day. This may not sound like a lot, but it is extremely targeted. Here are my results so far:
Now I have reached the destination of this journey - I successfully ranked my vid on page 1. I learned a lot of things during this time. Here are some tips for those who come after me:
- Make a long ass keyword rich description for your vid, it will help your rankings.
- Do your keyword research right. Or have the money/tools it takes to rank for a competitive keyword.
- In SEO you usually get what you pay for. If cheaper packages don't get you the results you want you may try different / stronger packages.
- Go for keywords that have google ads on the first page. It is proof of profitability.
- You can sell different products from the same niche on your landing page. This may not work for every niche, but it worked for me.
- Make sure your backlinks get indexed!!
- Take action!! You will never make money if you don't even try.
