Hello BlackHatters,

Most of people here create journeys with the intention of banking. Of course, one day I want to build my own project and have my own company. Big or Small. But that's not the purpose here. I will start small and keep growing.
Right now, all i want is some some change in my life. I already made some major changes that were causing it to be shitty. I became more active. More working. More happy. Less drinking.

But there is one thing that keeps bothering me, and it's my currently cashier shitty job. (Yeah, a fucking cashier).

In this journey, I will master my coding skills till i can get my first job as a programmer.

First Step (will do this today, before going to sleep): Choose a project to work on. I will choose a project to build in C# or .NET.

I won't compromise myself in updating this in a certain schedule. I will just update the thread when i feel it should be updated.

Best Regards !

That's how I learned. Pick a problem that actually interests you and you'll get a lot more done vs trying to go through a course.

Bonus if you pick something interesting people will read about. The guy who wrote that public Twitter bot in Selenium blogged about it and got a few job offers out of it.

Best of luck.

Hey,

As I was reviewing my oldest posts, I couldn't help but reflect on how much I've grown and how much my life has improved over the past 3 years.
It struck me that I never really documented this journey, and now, as I read it, I feel that I have to.

So, here it is:

I became a programmer, a full-stack web developer to be more precise.
Been working at it for 2.5 years and recently started a new full-remote job.

I began by working 3 months for free for an agency, then worked in there for a year and kept growing from there.

A successful journey :D

If anyone has doubts, you can ask me anything.

How do you become a full stack developer if you have zero programming knowledge... Is it possible... What would be the breakdown of such a journey

Try out sololearn website/ app, also there are ton of youtube tutorials on coding, it is a gradual process on improving.

That's really cool that you've decided to change your life for the better.
Good luck and growth in your endeavors

Well done! Great work! What languages are you working with?

I've never particularly enjoyed web development personally, but it's the way the world has gone, so you've got yourself into a great place as a developer! Best of luck with your new job.

Why not shift to a different company where environment is better ?

Haha, congrats, you might be the only member in the whole BHW that replied after 3 years on his journey thread to update that you keep the promise you made it to yourself. Congrats, hat-off!
