[JOURNEY] Promoting MLM / Business Opportunity

I was introduced to a system where I interface with people online, friend them on FB, then eventually send them to a YouTube page where I have playlists that they can sell themselves and call me if interested.

This is T-minus [several days].

Any ideas on how to drive real people to Facebook, engage them 1 on 1 and then move them to my funnel? Any positive advice is welcomed.

I have been engaging people on Linkedin, twitter, FB and friending them but it is a slow and tedious process. Any ideas?

I don't mention my business, I just discover their pain and let them see the solution.

There are many keys to offline MLM/Biz Ops that you can transfer over to online recruiting - and then there are some that don't. I used to send people to youtube or a corporate site, but people are almost programed to become skeptical and defensive when it comes to MLM, also, this is important there is too much distraction on youtube!. Your prospect maybe watching you videos and become bored and glance over at another company's video about a MLM product and poof - you loose them.
No matter how good the product is. The best way to go about it is to put up one (or two) videos on a simple "squeeze page". Research the psychology of why people chose to buy or opt in or comply with the product, service or biz op. Research how to put together a squeeze page, sales letter and video/ebook/opportunity package in order to a) get an email address b) show them their problem/pain, show them the opportunity and show them how YOUR BIZ OP solves their problem/pain.
I would encourage you to buy a domain name and upload a simple web page - if you don't have the technical skills then get it done on fiverr or spend a day reading up on how to install a wordpress theme and UPGRADE YOUR SKILLSET . It is another important part of leading a team or creating a downline.. YOU DO IT FIRST NO MATTER HOW PAINFUL THE PROCESSS. - Then you teach others how to generate their own leads online by DUPLICATION.

Don't just get people involved to add to your downline, treat them like newbies that they are and lead them in all aspects of MLM lead generation, prospecting, marketing and sales.

Create value in yourself not just before they join, but after - they will respect you and will turn into business builders themselves, and not into the 95% of recruits who don't do anything once they have signed up!

Also, do not tell them to call you back - you call them back. They may have 100 things going on and your videos aren't at the top for them - but it should be at the top of your list.. so you must take the initiative and call them back to follow up.

A clever way to engage them is to tell them to make sure they take notes if there is anything they have questions about - that way they remain engaged in the videos while they are watching and you will then use the questions they have to dig further into the Biz Op and it's value. They will be hearing a sales pitch but it will feel like you are just answering questions plus you will further build trust (especially if it is a MLM Biz Op)

I also think that if you are only making friends with people just so that you can make a sales pitch, then it will show and people will NOT feel that you have their best interests at heart. On average it takes 5 exposures to an MLM Biz Op for someone to sign up.. so don't go straight in for the kill! Change your mindset and just go out to make friends and learn about them - then look for the problem they have that you can at some point leverage your Biz Op introduction around. Worry about money, work pressures, deflated hope, a new baby on the way, the desire for freedom ... everyone has a problem that you can help them with (If your MLM Biz Op is any good) and think of yourself as a helper and it will naturally feel like a helpful act you are doing by showing them the Biz Op AND NOT A SALES PITCH!

There are so many aspects of this that you will get better with over time but if you are really willing to build teams of confident, equipped and on fire team mates - then perfect your prospecting, your training and your leadership skills, starting with the first steps outlined above.
