Hi everyone, my name is Laurence and i'm a 15 year old instagram marketing agency owner from the UK. I've been procrastinating over making a shopify store for a while now, but recently I've decided that as I do have a few decent sized IG accounts in different niches, it would be stupid not to take advantage of the free traffic I can harness.

The store will sell motorbike themed t-shirts and hoodies (with my own designs made in pixlr)

So what do I have right now?
- 60K follower motorbike niche IG account (gets 2-4K story views, high US following)
- found a print on demand apparel shopify plugin with relatively low priced products for good margins
- make my designs and imported them to a shopify store
- designed the shopify store and setup a payment system

What do I need to do?
- buy a suitable domain name
- pay for a shopify subscription
- prepare story ads to start pushing traffic to my store
- join motorbike niche facebook groups and in a non-spamming way promote my products

Right now:

Costs: $0
Revenue: $0
Profit: $0

P.S: sorry for all the colours haha

I wish you a best of luck for your journey. With print on demand, you have various options to choose, you can get a Wordpress website with woocommerce, and you don't have to pay the monthly fees. However, Shopify is the best option with some monthly charges. There are various Apps in Shopify like Printful, Teelaunch etc. which you can use to upload your designs and market through Instagram and when the orders will come, these apps will take care of every thing.

Good luck with your great share. Must following your journey.

Moved to My Journey Discussions as it's a journey.

Good luck with your journey. Can you update the thread and let us know the results?

Sorry for the late replies everyone, there was a change of plan.

Instead, I decided to make a shopify store about metal straws!

What I have right now:

Website with shopify fully designed, products added, and a 1 year .co.uk domain from Go daddy for £1.19.

In case anyone is wondering I'm not paying anything for shopify, and it's not the 14 day trial. It's called shopify partners and it's intended for developers but they allow you to sell and have the full functionality. You're capped at 50 sales a month but that's enough for me to start out.

What else have I done?

I used a tool called PowerAdSpy to search for active Facebook ad campaigns that look viral of the product I'm dropshipping from Aliexpress.

I'm using Oberlo to fufill.

My plan is to use influencer marketing, and use the content I've already pieced together from other people's FB ads.

Right, question for all of you!!

I found someone with a 600K makeup page (audience and demographics similar to that of Starbucks, could be interested in a metal straws?).

They are offering $30 for a 24 hour post and story shoutout. They get 5-10K story views.

Price + shipping is less than £4 for me and I'm selling each unit for £9, which is a £5 profit per unit.

From this shoutout I would need to make about 5 sales to break even.

Should I buy the shoutout? I'll count the votes and decide on that, and then post everything after that if I go ahead with the promo.

I would try this shoutout, you need to risk and learn to get your store success.

Let's try that shoutout. But I think you need to make sure their activities is not fake one :D
