Journey: Pintrest + Amazon Ebook

So I'm very new to pintrest, just getting the hang of how it works. Basically my plan is pretty simple, right now I'm just trying to get as many followers as possible (right now, zero hah), and once it reaches a decent number (maybe 500?), I will drop my ebook. I plan to make all my followers niche related, so no bots, and I realize it's going to be a slow process. Basically, I'll be repinning, and following niche related people while I'm bored at work during my spare time. Hopefully I can drop the bomb and make a good day in sales.. then repeat this process (follower build) then drop another bomb etc... I guess we will see how this goes.

Indeed. Most people use adsense, or affiliate links... but I'm gonna try promoting my own product.. and see how it goes. Hopefully this doesn't crash and burn, haven't had much success in any of the things I've been trying lately.

What is your strategy to get people to follow you, who are in your niche?

Finding popular pinners in my niche with lots of followers, then following their followers in hopes that they follow me back. (In a nutshell) Then once I get a decent amount, the plan is to just be active and have it grow naturally. This is basically how I did it when I built up my tumblr blogs.

Do you really want to do all manually ? Personally I mix so I pin/repin by hands but for the follow/unfollow stuff I use a bot and you'd probably do this.
If I correctly understood your strategy, you plan to look for autorithy account on your niche and follow their followers ? I'm pretty sure you can do this with the free version of Pinbot and it'll save you a lot of time. Imagine you can work on your pin/website/ebook while the following stuff is doing by itself. I'm not trying to sell you anything Just think about that and again good luck. As I'm also working with Pinterest I'll follow your thread so keep updating

I am having doubts. So any sort of income would be great. Once that, I will scale up.
