Hello all
In this post I will tell you my experience with SEO as a new joiner in this area of expertise, and it would be wonderful if you could help me with the questions that I have and maybe some suggestions if you'd like
Also I came across SEO because of my business in SMM (its a panel but with less services/platforms)
Of course I have yet to learn so many things, and it seems that SEO is updated again and again. I understood there were times when you could just buy lots of links and do hard keyword stuffing in your pages and they would rank really good, and now with the search intent and the improvement within AI area, it seems that things should look more natural.
I also found out some more backlinks strategies such to have them tiered, some guest posts, backlinks from High DA/DR website, GSA (still not sure what exactly this means, AI told me that it is rather an automated way to gain backlinks), PBN pros and cons (I probably missed out some of them, feel free to add them in the comments if you wish). One more cool thing that happened to me is that somehow an user came across my site via chat gpt. After looking up to it, it seems it exists even Generative Engine Optimization and even Answer Engine Optmization. I didn't look them up in more detail yet
I learnt and improved my website's On Page and Technical SEO, and learnt here from the guides how to do a keyword research, how to pick keywords and to strategize on them. about topical authority it is somehow in the same area and improves your ranking power (not sure-correct me if im wrong). I also used some extensions to audit my websites, and one that i used often is lighthouse chrome extension on which i have all the metrics above 90 (with SEO being constant 100). Not sure if it counts that much
I know there are things that I didn't get to them, or I don't even know about them, so help me writing them in the comments section and lets discuss. Also, there must be some black hat tricks which are really hot at the moment - it would be really cool to know them
