It all started with an idea i had for an instagram page. I started it, and while i was studying the competition i understood that yes, it was a nice idea for instagram, but it was way much better for a blog.
So i decided to do one thing: keep growing the instagram page and in the meantime starting to create the blog, so when it would be ready i'd already have an audience (from instagram) to redirect to it.
In the last 13 days i:
-Got a logo from fiverr 5$
-Designed a 'format' for my instagram posts (on Canva) 0$
-Bought 2 shoutouts for the instagram page 50$
-Bought 30days of instazood 10$
-Bought .com domain + hosting 10$ + 2$/month
-Bought competitor blog deep analysis from BHW marketplace 10$
-Bought first 3 articles (1000 words each) from a content writer here on BHW 50$
Blog will go live when:
- The IG page will have 10k followers (now at 2,3k)
- I will have a total of 20 articles (now 3, will probably have 10 by next week)
Plan:
-Buy some more shoutouts on Instagram, will spend as less as possible because my niche is a particular one and i dont know how much influence can ig pages have on it. Let's say 150$ MAX
-Buy 17 articles, around 200$
-Maybe buy a SEO package here on BHW, but I'm not sure at all ???
Monetizing:
Adsense, Amazon affiliate links in blog posts, maybe shoutout on the instagram page.
I'm doing this journey thread because i think that this section is the most useful of the entire forum, both for who reads and for who posts. Motivation, informations, help and tips are what you'll find here and what i hope to find too.
I know my niche REALLY well, and most important i enjoy 'working' in it, i also know it's a growing trend and i have a lot of hope in this project.
This will maybe take time, but i know most of you already understood that it's quite impossible (or really hard anyway) to see huge results without time and work, so i hope you will stick with me to be helped and also to help me.
I will probably update this often because i work on this every day (not full time though, I'm a college student), obviously, if i don't have any interesting updates i won't post.
