Hey there, BHW fam! Can't believe I'm finally writing this post, I've been keeping this private and in this forum, I never talk about this side of me, specifically about what business I'm currently doing. But I just hit my first $1,000 in my sportswear business, and I'm literally buzzing with excitement!

I've been wanting to share this journey with you all, so grab a coffee, and let me tell you how it all started.

Starting From Scratch (and slightly terrified)

I'll be honest, I had NO idea what I was doing at first. Like, zero. All I knew was that I wanted to create something amazing for people who love fitness as much as I do. So, I did what any overthinking fitness enthusiast would do, and I went into full detective mode.

I started hanging out in fitness groups on Facebook (you know, the ones where people post their transformation pics and ask for workout advice), stalking Instagram hashtags, and basically absorbing everything I could about what people actually wanted in their workout gear.

Making It Real (sooo messy at the start)

Guys, building a website is HARD. Like, "why-did-I-think-this-was-a-good-idea" hard. There were definitely nights when I sat staring at my computer, wondering if I should just give up and stick to my day job. But something kept pushing me forward, maybe it was stubbornness, maybe it was passion, haha.

I obsessed over every little detail, the logo, the colors, even the font had to scream "you're gonna crush your workout in this!" I probably changed the website layout about 47 times.

The Marketing Journey

Here's where it got real interesting. I started with Instagram ads, putting in just $10 a day (yeah, I was ballin' on a budget! ). I literally had my friends model the samples in exchange for free gear, shoutout to Sarah and Dave, hehe.

But the real game-changer? Actually talking to people. I started sharing daily stories about building the brand, behind-the-scenes stuff, and even my own workout fails. People seemed to love seeing the human side of the business.

My First Sale

Y'all, when that first sale notification came through... I screamed so loud and was sooo happy. I must have packed that order about 3 times to make sure everything was perfect.

First $1000

Let me keep it real with you, hitting $1,000 wasn't all sunshine and perfectly coordinated workout sets. There were plenty of moments when I thought about giving up. Like when I spent hours setting up a promotion that got zero sales, or when I did so many SEO things and still didn't get any significant traffic improvement.

But you know what kept me going? Every single message from customers, every DM asking about my products, and every photo someone shared wearing my products.

What's Next?

This is just the beginning, fam! I've got so many ideas for new products and I can't wait to share more of this journey with you all.

If any of you are thinking about starting your own business , hit me up! Seriously, my DMs are always open, and I'd love to help however I can.

Feel free to drop a comment below if you want to hear more about any part of this journey, I don't know if I should really get into details atm, so I just summarize all the important points in this journey. If you have any questions, let me know! Let's connect!

Congrats! Since this is your breakthrough it's customary on BHW to tell you: now scale this sh*t up!

How much will cost the products that you’ll sell?

Good luck! Would be curious as well to know a bit more about the price per product, margin, sourcing method, etc.
