[JOURNEY] MNS to $100 a day.

Did you add only 5 unique articles to your site?

Yes. Concentrated on a couple keywords for each article.

Thanks for this man I will try to follow along with ya.

=) Great!

Here's an update:

Site #1: Yesterday - $0.90
Site #2: Yesterday - $0.00 - Traffic starting to pick up and now on 1st page of Google for main keyword (22,200 Local Searches with LOW Competition). I haven't done much SEO work on it so I will start doing some web 2.0 submissions, articles, and pinging today.

I also found an EMD (Exact Match Domain) for a keyword that gets 206,000 EXACT Local monthly searches but has high competition so that will be site #3.

It seems like a LOT of people are going with MNS! Makes me wonder just how much money is possible. I read a while back that MNS is dead cause the algorithm changed to account for the method but it's as if people wrote it to drive possible sites away.

Oh it's still there =)

=) Found one with 206,000 monthly searches (EXACT) that's gonna be #3 site... but that one has very high competition so it's gonna be tough... although i'm sure i can get a good share of traffic from it.

Could you tell us, How you are able to find these high traffic keywords? What tools are you using?

Just recently started with MNSs and am going to do this solely
with SENuke.

10 sites up now, looking forward to hearing your story!

another great journey :) cool...

could You write something more about keyword research?
what I'm interested in is how do You determine competition?

Do You check pages from top 10? Their PR? backlinks? strength of backlinks? .edu/.gov ?

Regards

Guys, the keyword research is not rocket science. I use g00gle keyword tool that's it!

I guess it starts off with finding a niche that has +10,000 searches a month. Then the keyword research falls into place? These adsense books say to go after words that are around 1500 searches per month. But I don't think I can compete with anything that gets more, so never try...

Still there's something missing between what people here are actually making, and what every adsense book advice says. I have pages that have 60+ articles and get 5 hits a day. Pretty much writing articles about every keyword(that are around 1000 searches).

The one thing I haven't tried is going after a 10k+ searched term a month... Cause the competition looks too steep, for the limited amount of back links one can collect manually, its a 1 year project...

Anyhow, Can't wait to see your results...Thanks for writing this up.

You can try going after 10k searches.. My first site, the main keyword got approximately 8,000 local monthly searches and I got on the 1st page on multiple search engines against websites that have high PR and long established. Write QUALITY contents.

but how about the competition? don't You care if top 6 spots are taken with PR6 sites etc?

I haven't had this problem. Like I said above, I got ranked 1st page and am above websites that have been established for years with high PR.. I am PR0.

Well, that seems like magic. I haven't ranked number 1 for even low comp keywords.. hmmmmm

so the niche itself doesn't matter as much as the keywords?

Hi,
For your firdt and second site, how many words in your main keywords? what kind competition (could you give us a number)? Could you give us more in detail? haven't see anyone ranked in the first page without much work.
Thanks.

How do you come up with ideas for keywords to research?

I try to brainstorm a couple of keywords and my mind just farts out.

How specific are your main keywords?

For instance, is it "Rayguns" "Red Rayguns" "Vintage Red Rayguns Cheap"?

I've had no problem ranking #1 on G for very specific keywords, is it even worth it to go after rather broad keywords instead of their more specific counter parts?

Guys, I know a lot of you are new here, but please do some searching before asking questions. Everything mentioned in the thread is discussed in detail somewhere in the forum already

"Any questions feel free to ask." Yeah, stuff has been asked on the forum before, but everyone has a different view and different technique.. soooooo....

Yeah i wanna know about niches.. I pick the most stupidest niches.. and during my spamming.. I mean useful commenting ;) I see a lot of weird niches like:

Hotels california
Black ladys watches
Ecigarrettes
Lawyers

Aren't those totally burned out?

I make stuff like

Dog mats
Parrott training
Washable floor mats
Parakeet supplies....

There's a lot thats not talked about when people talk about "niche"..... they always use the dog training thing..................

Subbd, I also have a journey which I don't have time to put it on forum ( 20 sites atm )

Good luck, I'll follow along too
