Hey guys, I posted a thread on BHW Clickbank sub about my first sale, but I can't link to it. So, since that day, I've made 2 more sales! So I decided to make a Journey for it to keep myself motivated, and also to motivate everyone else. I never had made any sale online before Jan. 29th EVER, so you can see why I'm so excited! The way I did it was, I set up a blog with 2 articles, and tried many different layouts to get people to click on the aff link I was using. Also, my first sale was made on Yahoo Answers, so I can vouch for that technique. Anyway, here's my journey! Will update every sale! In terms of directing traffic to my blog, I have not spent a single cent yet, so I am promoting myself by posting unique posts (actually giving helpful advice to each question or comment rather than copy pasting) with a link to my blog. EDIT: I'm constantly changing things around and positioning the links differently on my articles to get more hops. UPDATE #1: Just got 2 more sales! One person bought 2 products I believe!
Good luck! I am also trying Clickbank, but with YouTube instead. Hit me up on Skype if you want to exchange some tips! Skype: acevalkyriee
I have subscribed to your journey since its the most interesting in a while Looking forward to see your progress with clickbank. Good luck with it and I hope you won't quit and I hope you will make $100/day
Congrats dude! Thats a great start! But, can you go more in depth on what you do and how you ended up getting this 2 more sales. It seems more interesting since its a journey.
Yes, absolutely, basically I set up a blogspot. I wrote 2 articles on the niche I am selling the product in, and made sure they were keyword rich. I'm so new to SEO that I still don't think I'm even ranked by Google, whatever that even means haha (still learning about SEO reading up on it every chance I get.) Then I started by answering questions on Yahoo Answers. Made 1 sale like that, then decided to go through news blogs that have articles that they wrote in my niche. I go in and discuss in the comments area in a way that doesn't look like advertising, and link people to my blog. That's how I've been getting traffic. All my clicks to my product are in my article, and I've been trying different positioning on them to see which way works the best, as in attracting more people to click it. From there, the product I've chosen's sales page has been doing a good job of converting for me. So far, I can say that I'm getting about 1:50 on sales to hops. I did a lot of research on many products on Clickbank before choosing the one I chose, and I believe that is what is contributing to my success so far.
Congrats evtezcan, so you are using your blogspot blog as your landing page great idea. Now optimize your landing page so you can get more sales and also integrate an newsletter ( aweber or something ) so you can grab their emails also since they are buyers you can profit from them later
Can you please let us know that what are the basic factors to chose a clickbank product? I mean on what basis you research the product? thanks in advance
Yes, I actually followed a guide by a girl named Alexa Smith on choosing a CB product, and researched the product thoroughly myself. I can't link to the guide (I'm too new to the forum to be allowed to link), nor can I find it right now, but check back tomorrow morning... I will have it copied and pasted here!
