hello everyone , hopefully everyone is doing good .

About this journey :-

In this journey i will be teaching myself to code in python . ( actually it is more than just learning to code , i want to change myself )

About me
:-

i am the laziest person one could think of , sometime i can spend days or even a week just inside my room on my bed thinking on topics that does not even matter

i joined BHW back in 2017 and i basically reads things only , don't apply

how am i going to do this :-

I have all that is required i.e. :- decent laptop to code , fast internet connection , Time

Source of learning :- SOLO LEARN ( android app ) , Python specialization from coursera ( Audit method )
by University of Michigan

Goals :-

{ learn to code and change myself }

Plan :-

8-2-19 to 12 -2 -19 =
Programming for Everybody

13-2-19 to 16-2-19 =

Python Data Structures

17-2-19 = revise everything

after 17-2-19 i will complete the rest of 3 course

can't estimate time about them cause i don't know much about those topics

Final goal will be to create some sort of tool like account creation etc

i have failed almost in everything in my life but this time i want to succeed

Good luck buddy, at least you accepted to yourself your lazy and wants to make changes to that. you can check w3schools for some free tutorials.

I wouldn't advise starting out with Python as you'll have a hard time later figuring out basic programming concepts like data types.
You can learn the basics somewhere else like C++ then go deep with Python.

C++ is not noob friendly. Better off starting with C# or something.

Yes, but it makes things easier later.
OP before going with Python check the Harvard CS50 course it starts with C.

freecodecamp will be handy and extremely resourceful for you but don't set too short target, it will take time to learn and understand code, best thing to do is start coding more and more different apps and clones.

Good luck

Read a book like Learning Python from Mark Lutz with notes no assignments (One or two chapters a day)
Read the book again but this time with assignments if score is less than 85% next day repeat chapter
I would skip the really advanced stuff if this is your first time coding and this took me about 6 - 8 months.

After this I got a job because I could pass the test piss easy.

Don't use online courses for a source of information rather use them to test your knowledge.
6 - 8 months is really nothing so whatever you do just stick with the plan.

No need for good luck just do it!

Good luck with journey. I should start something like this.

All the best in your pursuit, mate. I did a similar thing myself, and would say it's well worth it. I also started with Python, and have covered all of the basics. I'm just looking to get into the more advanced stuff like object oriented programming. It's a great journey if you're determined. You can build bots and all what not.

courses will tell you how to use a certain language and its syntax, look for open source apps and manipulate them, making them your own. Also look for apps that aren't open source afterwards and try your best to mimic their functionality and you will be good to go.
4 things you need to succeed in this : Laptop, Internet, Lots of time and a passion for it. no passion don't even waste your time. Good luck on your journey, i hope you make it :)

Code the hell out of your brain and generate the codes($$) for a better lifestyle:D
