Hello everybody. This will be my first ever Journey thread that I am creating. I am just getting over the virus and that has shown me how short life is and how we need to not take life for granted. Before we get into specifics, I have about 2 years of PPC experience and because of the virus, it has been hard for me as a person to stay focused on anything Internet Marketing related. I have applied to many new jobs but still got nothing back and instead of begging people for work, I have decided to sell my expertise and services over trying to sell myself to companies. I am writing this thread to hold myself accountable, and as a way to show new methods of getting clients no matter what services you sell. I have found various methods through both this site and YouTube which I think that can be worth trying to get clients. I plan on selling a myriad of services to clients such as different types of PPC and Email Marketing campaigns.

Email Marketing through LinkedIn

I originally found out this method through a pinned thread which lays out a foundation on how to find leads. Instead of trying to find random businesses, I am focusing on creating niches catering to many businesses and creating cold email templates to sell the same product in a different type of way.

Craigslist Ads

Craigslist is a very important site especially for those who are in America. It is where I got my first $100 as a child and is a great way to find leads. Each post costs $5 per category and location so I hope to find US cities which are best suited for my ads. I also plan on creating a eye popping ad that I hope leads to people wanting to contact me.

Web scraping sites

-BBB
Many contractors rely on the Better Business Bureau as it was one of the first ways that businesses can be vetted and were able to hold businesses accountable for their actions

-Google Maps
Companies who have spent money on GMB will most likely be willing to invest in their own business

Things that I want to have done by the time this is posted up
-Have a one page website
-Have a final copy of my craigslist ad

For anyone who has ever freelanced, what do you do and how have you gotten clients? I hope to be able to update everyone by next week.
