Journey Discussion and Advice

I started 2022 with a bang by launching a website but I fell off because it became a money pit and I had to abandon the whole idea all together.

So now a new year is again with us now and once more I want to start experimenting new ideas.

So far this is what I am thinking

1. Patreon - Already setup and it has one client already. It would be a job board aggregator. I do all the hardwork of looking for niche job opportunities and I post it on Patreon and then I charge a small fee for people who want to access it. Would also upload some PDFs that directly pertains that field to make it more lucrative.

2. YouTube channel - I already have a channel which is up and running and it has accumulated 3.5 watch hours. I am stuck between creating content myself (filming and editing it) or just venturing into the faceless niche by producing niche videos using CapCut.

3. TikTok - Haven't set it up but I am planning to in a few days before the year lapses. Focus would be American politics mainly and current trends.

I am in a third world country and I don't have a specific target because I know these routes take time to pick up. However, if I can get atleast $50 each from the 3 option weekly or monthly, I would be good to go.

If we talk about YouTube. Theoretically, it would be more interesting to buy a channel with monetization right away, so that you can earn income right away. But the topic of such a channel is another matter. It could be news, or a make money online niche, or advice on dropshipping or anything related to e-commerce. Also the health and healthy eating niche is not bad rpm. Anyway, as I've learned for myself, it's better to go for the long term niches rather than the hype and short term ones. Although you can do 9-10 minute reels on the games (eg poppy playtime, war thunder) and others.

Sounds like a solid plan honestly. The Patreon idea could work well if you stay consistent and keep it useful. For YouTube, if you're short on time, faceless vids with CapCut are a good way to go.
