[JOURNEY] Creating a tech blog from scratch

My first goal is to get this blog upto at least 1k visitors a week. But ultimately I want it to rise much higher than that.
This is how many visitors I'm getting currently.




Planning

I don't really care about monetisation at this point in time; I just want to grow the blog so that it gets decent organic traffic.
I'm buying content from Upwork, Fiverr, and some old contacts. I'll keep getting content and try to reach 100 articles first. Right now it has 13.
I'll also be writing half of the articles myself until I find a writer I can constantly give work to and expect good results at reasonable rates.

Since the blog currently lacks content, My main focus will be on finding the right keywords, improving the user experience and adding content.
I'm using ghost CMS and its been a really nice change from WP so far.

I have a Twitter profile linked to the blog to auto post any new articles I post on the blog. I'll also create a list of outlets where I can constantly post the articles and promote the blog to get real visitors.

Next Action

Reach 30 posts
Get at least 50 clicks a week

I'll make the next update once I reach one of these goals. If you have any ideas or suggestions let me know.

How much will you spend for each article?

Good luck mate, this is where I'm at with about 13 posts as well. I'd love to have someone to push me so I'll keep watching this thread for some motivation to keep putting out content. Would love to hit 1K visitors per week early next year so I need to put in that work.
