Journey: Building TrapStats — AI greyhound analytics platform (looking for SEO help)

Started this journey post to document the growth of TrapStats — an AI-powered greyhound racing analytics platform covering every UK and Irish track.

What we built: LightGBM models trained on 23+ features per dog (form, sectionals, trap draw, weight trends, going conditions). The model outputs calibrated win probabilities, Kelly Criterion stake sizes, and SHAP explanations so users can see exactly why a dog is flagged. We also have a full backtesting engine using real Betfair BSP odds.

The numbers after 6 days of live tracking: 272 bets, +198.9u on day 5 alone (26W/39L). The bank chart is trending up after an initial rough patch on day 5 (12W/44L, -89.8u drawdown). Recovery was fast.

Where we're stuck: SEO. Product is built and working. Organic signups are coming in but slow. We need real link equity in the betting/analytics space.

Looking for someone with proven experience in:

- Topical authority buildout around greyhound racing and sports betting keywords
- UK-focused organic traffic growth

Yes, the core of TrapStats is ML-powered — LightGBM models that output calibrated win probabilities and Kelly-based stake sizes. Not just a tipster picks site, it's a full analytics layer on top of greyhound race data.

On organic signups: right now it's mainly word of mouth from a few Reddit/Telegram betting communities + people finding the free tier and trying it. Nothing structured yet — which is exactly why I'm posting here. We need proper SEO and link equity to scale this up.
