[Journey] Building an iOS & Android App Empire

how do you stay anonymous?
and is there any other secrets which google use to detect you
bcz recently i got my 2 account banned and its for first time so i am finding a way to hide my self

My app has been rejected thrice in appstore :( They always have some or the other problem...sometimes privacy, sometimes screenshots, sometimes functionality, sometimes beta features, etc. One of the buttons is not responding in ios 16 on ipad. It is not possible to test the app in all physical devices and all versions of os. I can just use simulators...what to do in such situations?
 
if you are using unity you can use device simulator and it will literally simulate the android functions and its >90% accurate
and if you use android studio or xcode then they also have in build simulator

I have uploaded 4 more apps (2x Android - 2x iOS). And once more I can confirm how random the review is.

On Google, they just keep rejecting my app for this:

"APK HAS A PRIVACY POLICY BUT IT IS NOT ADEQUATE
  • Privacy Policy in Play Console
    • Privacy Policy in Play Console does not disclose the collection of Image.
    • Privacy Policy in Play Console does not disclose the usage of collected Image."

Even though my privacy policy clearly describes the collection and usage of images. The same privacy policy that worked for all the other apps before.

And Google just keeps rejecting. Already 4 times. They never specifically say whats wrong. Just rejection and the same email over and over again.

Now I send an appeal.

Its so ridiculous to deal with this stuff.

Pretty unfortunate we have to deal with this nonsense, rooting for you mate! the stress of dealing with google is real

Around 30 minutes after I sent the appeal and made this post they answered the appeal and published the app.

These days it seems Google Play is really fast in reviews or answering appeals. Even when I upload updates for my apps it only takes 2-3 hours until they get published.

Glad to hear that, updates are fast to go live for me too, hopefully their ecosystem gets better and better...
 
Have you tried AppBrain promotion? I noticed that they offer lower CPI for some countries compared to Google Ads.

Never tried it myself though, because it needs at least $25 per day. Currently I'm sticking to Google Ads.

Update:

- Created another Google Play Store last week and uploaded one app, which has already been published successfully.
- Uploaded two more iOS apps
- Updated three of my apps which are mostly earning money through IAP and migrated to RevenueCat

These three apps generate around $100-150 per day organically through IAP. Daily costs are around $5-10.

So, daily earnings:

IAP: $100-150
Ads: $100-150

The earnings always depend on how the ads are performing. The same goes for IAP. It's fluctuating a lot. Sometimes it's $400 per day. Sometimes I am unlucky and it's $25 a day. That's also one reason why I migrated to Revenuecat. To get more data. I found the App Store Connect dashboard a bit confusing and not so accurate.

Next, I wanna upload two more Android apps.
 
Update:

These days I am working creating different screenshots for my apps. Making them more clickbait and professional. For two apps I already saw a huge difference. Organic downloads went from 80 to 120 per day. And because the conversation rate and amount of downloads is higher, the rankings will also increase. So overall it is always a good idea to test and optimize the screenshots as much as possible.

Some of them are. But the games niche is very hard. You will need a really good and optimized game in order to succeed. Something original.

Update:

Uploaded one more iOS app with IAP. Working on another, reskinned version of this app which is more niche-specific.

Also, I am working on updates which make the apps have a higher conversion rate.

Earnings:

Daily $80-150 from ads through various Ad networks,80% from AdMob tho
$70-120 through iOS IAPs

About advertising:

I just took a deep look into my ad spending and the ad networks. From what I see so far Facebook/Meta ads not only convert miserably, but they also give wrong information for my iOS apps.

Through Appsflyer I can exactly see how many app installs I get organically. This number is quite stable. Then I make Facebook ads and this number doesn't change much. Maybe +10 downloads. But on my Facebook Ads Manager, it says 50-70 downloads.

So far I found Google Ads working the best. I can actually see a real + on Appsflyer and AppStore Connect.
