    Hello everyone,

I hope you're ready for another journey thread, because this is going to be another one. And even if you aren't, I hope that you'll at least pop in here, see what I'm doing wrong, and at least have the decency to tell me about it haha. Anyway, I spent a lot of time the last day or so reading through http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...complete-noobs-journey-world-mns-adsense.html that thread. It really helped to kickstart my attitude when it came to making some money, and it has been one of the most invaluable reading tools I've come across so far in sparking that little fire inside me to go ahead and try it out. If I had the money, I'd donate to that guy just for the invaluable information and guidance he's offered from that thread alone. MNS websites seem to be getting a pretty crappy rap lately throughout the forums, but honestly, they're websites. If you offer good information relevant to your readers, I don't see how Google could hate you for it.

So anyway. I plan to outline every single service I have used or plan to use in this thread with links to those services as well. I will update this first post with all of those links so that nobody has to search throughout the thread to find them. I will not begin my journey in this first post, however I just want to announce my intent and provide the links to the resources I will be using. If I add any new MNS websites to my journey, I will create a new post with all of the details (except the critical details, of course, which I'm sure you'll understand). I will try and make one major update every couple of days as I see progress happening, but don't expect that I've abandoned the project all together if I don't post a major update for awhile. I have a pretty busy life as it is, and it's gotten a lot busier lately with me and my wife going to see a fertility specialist, which the worst part of that is we have to travel out of town to do it. The appointments aren't cheap either. So, needless to say, my budget for these MNS sites will be EXTREMELY limited, and will have the added fuel to succeed with the cost of our doctor visits coming up, because the extra money will DEFINITELY come in handy!

What you can gather from that is, I'll be approaching this project in a very slow, but hopefully steady pace, from a complete newbie's perspective, since SEO optimization and MNS websites are all brand new to me. I've been in the IM world for a number of years, but have never actually pushed anything SEO/MNS related, so I've never really done much in the way of keyword research or competition scouting. This is going to be a journey not only for me, but for all of you to read as well. I'm not doing this to get people to thank and rep me over and over. I'm mainly doing this to keep track of my progress and to provide and obtain valuable feedback where appropriate. I know it was a great motivation piece for dealsopoly, and I can only hope that I'll have the same motivation from my thread.

    How are my websites setup?

I plan to use Wordpress for ALL of my MNS websites. I will also be using the following plugins:

    - All in One SEO Pack
    - Contact Form 7
    - Google XML Sitemaps

The theme I am using is the ProSense theme, which can be found here: http://thewrongadvices.com/2007/05/18/prosense-an-adsense-ready-seo-wordpress-theme/

I modified the theme tremendously so that the pixels line up right. I'm a huge stickler when it comes to website's presentation (I've been a web designer and PHP programmer for over 8 years now) so I have a keen eye when it comes to trying to improve Wordpress themes or make them look just right. So I guess you can say the theme I am using is a modified version of the ProSense theme, but it's ProSense regardless.

I will also be setting up my Wordpress sites like this:

    - Three static pages (one for my main keyword and one for two secondary keywords)
    - The static pages all have an article on them with at least 500 words with a keyword density of at least 1% (meaning the keyword mentioned at least 5 times)
    - An About page, a Contact Us page, a Blog page and a Privacy Policy page
    - 7 static pages in total
    - The Wordpress site is setup so that the very first page is a static page, which is my main keyword
    - The blog page will be a list of all regular "Posts," which will centered around all of my keywords at once as well as provide some "filler" articles
    - All of my content is 100% unique, either written by myself or bought (more info on that in the section below)

So, without making this post any longer than it needs to be, here are the services I will be using for this project as well as the prices and a short little "nickname" next to each one so that I don't have to spell it all out in detail when making new posts.

    Cost: $0.00

Total Investment Costs: $82.00 per MNS (plus the cost of articles if I won't write them myself)

If I use another service at any time, I will be sure to post that link in this first post. I will also be sure to keep track of which packages above I used for each website so that you can all be sure you know exactly what I've done to each website and when I did it.

So anyway. I guess that's about it for now. This post has been extremely long and quite frankly, may be TL;DR for most of you. If that's the case, I don't blame you. BUT, for those of you wanting to follow my journey, I wanted to make sure you all had the information at hand for everything I am doing or plan to do.

See you in the next post!

Alright, so, I know you just read an insanely long introduction thread and sadly, you're going to have to read a little bit more. This is a forum afterall.

So, this website I will call "Site 1" and this is practically my baby site. It's my very first MNS ever and will always get my special treatment regardless of how many MNS websites I build in the future (it's my baby!)

Keyword Searches Search Results intitle Results inurl Results SERP
    keyword 1 (main keyword) 8,100 216,000 18,200 15,100 0
    keyword 2 (secondary keyword) 14,800 205,000 4,650 3,910 0
    keyword 3 (tertiary keyword) 110,000 165,000 37,600 4,720 0
This website hit the internet just three days ago. I have an exact match domain (it's a .info domain due to .com, .net and .org being taken) for my main keyword and have created pages for all three keywords above. So far, the website has been indexed in Google because it shows up with I do a "site:mywebsite.info" search, so I know it's there. Unfortunately, it has yet to show up anywhere in the SERPs for any of the three keywords.

I purchased the Insurgo package for it and plan to purchase Vapsjee, Topdown and BacklinksFlow packages today or tomorrow to help push the website into the big G's eyes quicker. I'm planning to purchase the SERP 2.0 package a week or two after all of the Fiverr gigs are complete, and then the G-Garlic package a week or so after the SERP 2.0 delivers. I also used the IMT Tool and the BackPing Tool to publish my RSS feed and ping them automatically. The IMT Tool is submitting my RSS feed to about 30,000 websites and pinging them at the same time, so that should do some wonders. The BackPing tool only sends it to around 10-15 websites, but any free traffic should be good traffic.

I purchased 3 iWriter articles and have received two and am waiting on 1 to complete. I had to reject two of the articles twice because the writing was terrible and seemed like it was spun from something else. Regardless, I have only purchased three articles. I currently have three articles set to publish through Wordpress. One of them is set for the 25th, another is set for the 27th, and the other is set for the 29th. The final article that I receive from iWriter will be put in queue to publish on July 1st. This is so that the articles aren't getting thrown on the website all at once, but rather being trickled in to keep the appearance of fresh content going for the big G. In the meantime, I will probably write a couple more articles for the website and put those in queue as well, and hopefully plan to write enough articles to get all of July's queue filled up.

Hmm.. let's see.. what have I left out?

I think that's about it. I currently have 0 traffic stats for this website, mainly due to the website being nearly brand new. But hopefully after the Fiverr gigs complete, the website will turn itself around and I'll start getting some small-time traffic here and there.

    Investment to date:

    Domain: $2.98
    Fiverr Gigs: $15.00
    BHW Gigs: $2.00
    Total: $19.98

    Income to date:
    $0.00

Alright folks, that's it for this update. Once anything major happens or I have something else to report, I'll be sure to let you know! Take care until next time!

Thank you! :) I'm looking forward to the project myself. It's been a long time since I've started something and it actually kept me from falling asleep as night because I couldn't stop thinking about ways to improve it. :p

    Micro Update

So I did something I shouldn't have done and went off and purchased the Ultimate Niche Finder tool for $50. I told myself I wasn't going to spend any money at all until my money cleared in PayPal and I got my payment in from Google Play, but I did it anyway. I'm such a sucker when it comes to automation. If my wife knew about the money I spent to buy this tool she'd probably rip my head off. BUT, so far the tool seems to be working alright. It's actually a little slower than I expected, but it could be due to the public proxies I'm using that I found online. I just can't really afford to purchase private proxies, especially since it seems Google likes to block them pretty quickly.

But anyway. I'm going to be doing a ton of keyword research tonight and seeing how many more keywords I can find that could potentially be profitable for my next four MNS websites. I'm looking to hopefully open up 4 more within the next couple of weeks so that I can diversify my "portfolio" a little bit.

So yea.. That's the tiny update. At least it has to deal with my journey, right?

Back this up with some proof and I might give your post some weight. "No offense" - but I'll continue my journey until it's 100% proven that MNS websites are no longer profitable.

    Micro Update

I purchased five more domains this morning. I just finished installing Wordpress on the domains (didn't have time to do it today due to doctor visits) so now I'm about to look for a theme that looks less spammy than ProSense, at least for right now. I want to start building my traffic first and then I'll worry about an Adsense targeted theme. So for the time being, I'll be setting up themes on the new five websites as well as my site #1. Due to money being cut extremely short this month because of the doctor visits, I won't be purchasing any Fiverr gigs or BHW gigs, probably not until next month. But that's sorta good news.. At least I have some time to actually build a good amount of content on the new websites before pushing any gigs on them.

I am currently waiting for my three Fiverr gigs and one BHW gig to be completed for site #1, so right now, it's just coasting along. I went ahead and set all of the new articles that I have scheduled for site #1 back a day, so the first of four new articles will be published tomorrow, and then one on the 29th, etc., etc. I'm still contemplating on pushing them back another day or two so that they flow further out into July. That way at least Google will see the website is updated once every 4 or 5 days, plus that gives me time to work on the other five new sites as well.

So anyway. That's the "micro" update for today. Take care everyone!

Good luck dude! I made a lot of my first earnings with adsense, and was pulling in a ton until I sold some sites and diversified. If you have any questions let me know!

Btw SEO Search Terms Tagging 2 is the best wordpress plugin imo. Honestly that thing has gotten me so much free traffic I love love love it <3

    Micro Update

Alright so I've spent the last few hours getting my Wordpress sites setup on all five of my MNS websites. I decided not to use the short URL I found as an MNS site. I plan to look into doing something different there. So, I'll be working with 5 MNS websites from here on out, all referred to as Site 1, Site 2, etc. I did a ton of keyword research tonight on all of my new domains so that I have a secondary and a tertiary keyword for all of them to target as well. That information I will provide below on the search stats, etc.

I'm still trying to get my hands on the HMT Plugin that allows you to import their themes, but can't seem to find it anywhere. I found the Heatmap theme in the downloads section, but that plugin is nowhere to be found. If any of you know where it might be, I'd be absolutely grateful for the assistance.

So anyway. Here are the TOTALS for all three keywords combined in all of the areas listed. This is the primary, secondary and tertiary keywords all totaled together. I didn't feel like pasting stats for all three keywords for all five sites, so if you want further details, feel free to ask in a reply. But for now, they will just be totals.

    Site 1:
    Local US Searches: 132,900
    Search results: 586,000

    Site 2:
    Local US Searches: 16,400
    Search results: 235,400

    Site 3:
    Local US Searches: 16,400
    Search results: 308,100

    Site 4:
    Local US Searches: 12,700
    Search results: 385,300

    Site 5:
    Local US Searches: 18,900
    Search results: 144,000

After doing more keyword research this evening, I've come to the conclusion that my site 1 is going to be pretty tough to get ranked high up on the SERPs, but I'm still going to give it everything I've got. I'm still waiting for the three Fiverr gigs to complete for the first site, as well as the one BHW gig I purchased as well. The other four sites have had NOTHING purchased for them yet seeing as how I haven't even written the articles yet.

So anyway. There's another micro update. Hopefully I'll have more to report tomorrow, and hopefully, those damn Fiverr gigs will be done soon.

Thanks a lot! I'll definitely look into that plugin! :)

    EDIT:

    Mini Micro Update

I have now installed this plugin on all 5 of my MNS blogs. Thanks for the tip on the plugin! :)

Good luck man. I would look into getting .coms if they are avail. There is a .99 cent coupon floating around for godaddy.

Yea, for these keyword, com, net and org weren't available so I figured since info domains are getting more and more popular on the internet, it shouldn't hurt my ranking. Hell, I've seen tons of websites rank at #1 with an info domain. But if I come across a com, I'll probably definitely pick it up.

I wouldn't recommend "mimicking" anything. It's best to see what other people are doing so that you can shape that kind of stuff into your own ideas. I hope my thread helps you in one way or another. :)
