[Journey] 2500 crypto presale sign ups.

Hi.

I am doing a journey on getting sign ups for my crypto presale.
I have set a soft target of 2500. I wont release the crypto, wont precede with the presale until I get at least 2500 people interested in taking part in presale.

The main method I will focus on to start with is to promote the project on telegram, and measure sign ups on my website.

So far I had bought 500 members so the group didn't look bare, then paid somebody to bring 1000 members, don't know what method they used, but engagement was pretty much non existent and didn't lead to any sign ups.

Since then I have been manually promoting the group on other telegram groups and manually PMing group members.

I am now at 2000 members and think its a good point to start this thread.

Even though I have 2000 members, I only have 30 signups so far. However of the 2000 members, 1500 could be completely fake from the original 500 + 1000 I paid for.

I will concentrate on growing the group and increasing conversion rates.
So will be carrying out 2 separate activities, the first how I will promote the group, the second how I will convert the group members to website signups.

My advice would be to use Bots, and creative ones that are interactive. Make it a fun place to be. Import group stickers, or make stickers only for your group. Be creative and people will engage back.

Yes, would be interested to know if there are proper use cases for the crypto

They most likely invited inactive members to your group. A good method is to invite members from another active crypto group into your own group. Make sure the invited members are active or else you will get same bad results. Also your group must be active you have to be posting stuff of else the members won't engage.

This is not scaleable. This has to be done automatically or outsourced if you want to scale.

As for someone who has been in crypto marketing for many years I recommend that you start a Discord server. Telegram was huge for crypto in 2017-2018 and now everyone is moving to Discord so don't miss out on that.

So its been a week, and I have got 25 more sign ups. At current trajectory it will take me almost 2 years to reach my target...

I carried on what I was doing manually. Created several accounts so I could rotate between them .
I've just started trying out different bots to automate posting etc. There are some free/cheap ones I have tried but only semi automate the process. Need to get some better bots or start hiring VAs, so will try to find a bot which can fully automate or start trialling VAs soon to see if this helps speed up.

Hi thanks for the message.
I've found some bots which can do really basic tasks, send PMs, etc or repeat the same message. trying to get bots which are more engaging is a bit tricky atm, I have my own very basic script right now, but I need to really improve the bot before I get any real benefit.

Hey, thanks for the information. Difficult to invite members from active groups on scale. I checked some competitors and most members were people spamming just to take part in an airdrop. Your right about not being scalable, posting messages, inviting people, commenting in other groups etc, takes up way too much time. I've looked at some existing software but doesn't do what is fully required, have started to write my own scripts, hopefully when they are set up I will see better growth.
I was trying to focus on just 1 platform as I 'll end up being to spread out across all different social media platforms, FB, TW, IG, etc. will look into Discord when I get time. Thanks

Hi I have some options, which solve current problems in the crypto market but realistically, unless I see some mass adoption of my token when its released there'll be no point developing because I wont have enough users to see the benefit. Also as I am trying to get the signups first it could be months or longer before I'm ready to start developing and the market could change by then so my user case be adopted for any change.

Thought I'd come back for an update.
I have been doing this now for around 5 weeks. And have close to 100 signups for TG.
My group is now around 5000 members, mostly inactive. I get only 1 or 2 questions a day.
Have been using some bots to help but they could be better.
Website is also not optimised for conversions.
I am only getting around 1 in 20 visitors signing up, which is really low considering the only reason they visit the website is to sign up.
Current trajectory is still around 2 years.

I think discord is better for you right now bro. TG is dead for crypto / people are already in groups. 2 years is such a waste of time IMO.

Hey. Yeah, TG is just one of the channels I am using. I have started Discord and a few other social media channels. I had a couple of FB groups which were also getting decent signups but then the bigger group got banned. I tried Twitter but that was the worst so far. And trying a few others.
Its been quite bad on TG, getting group subs and visitors to websites is good but getting them to convert isn't so good.

ATM all channels I am using are giving similar results, sign up in the 10-20 per week from each channel. Except twitter which is pretty much nothing.

If it keeps going on at same rate then yeah pretty much worthless and not worth carrying on. But will try some more different methods to try to increase sign ups.
