Okay guys first im gonna start off by saying a little bit about myself
My name is Ryan
22 Years Old
Day job: web developer

In this Journey what i will be doing is creating a recipe website about healthy eating it will have low competitive keywords ,5000+ monthly searches per keyword this website will have 20 web pages

ive read a little bit about seo and watched tutorials and i am going to put it into action the tutorial that was most imformative is Matthew Woodwards tutorial on tiered link building.

my goal of this journey is purely to start to rank the website
i would be happy with $1 per day i will be putting ad-sense on the website.
This journey is purely to get some experince so i can attempt more harder things.

Thanks Mafia it was a idea i had in my head for awhile which lead me to the forum.
my attitude is start doing instead of just thinking about doing :)

So maybe that will count as my day 1 Perhaps.
 
How do you plan on doing your content? Outsource or doing it yourself? :)

Duffers means that you should create a pinterest account for your site once you have everything set up. It would be perfect for the recipe niche seeing as recipe pins are really popular and get tons of hits.

Okay here it goes, don't use Adsense. Sure Adsense is the easiest way to monetize a site, but doesn't everybody hate these ads? They look shitty and make the site look cheap.

What about using a different approach to monetize the page, for example affiliate offers. Cooking you say? Well, there are some nice pots, pans, noodlemakers, you name it ... on Amazon. Just saying ;)

Rootz as stated this site is mainly for experience more specifically in the seo link building area, you are 100% right, assuming I'm successful I will be moving to cpa offers with this site
 
Hi my friend! Good luck and don't give up. One little piece of advice, though each and everyone of us has to climb a long ladder to achieve success, don't settle for $1 a day. If you aim for that, you will get that. Aim for what you really want, it's 50% mindset 50% work.
