Which update are you guys referring to? The Wordpress update or the actual Statpress update?

I updated my Statpress but I haven't updated my Wordpress and all that changed was my Statpress now looks different :P

wow.. maybe im not using tweet attacks enough! how many people are you following? Do you regularly do an unfollow?

I tend to follow each day and then do an unfollow once a week. Not sure what anyone else is doing.

The thing I am interested in is how people have increased their likes on the facebook page.

*Which I am sure will be covered by crashed anyway :D
 
The social aspect of this thread has astounded me, I really didn't get social marketing, fb, twitter, I must visit my fb account maybe once every 10 days. Jeez everyone just talks utter shite on there!

I made an fb page about a year ago and spent a lot of time on it, it has auto news feeds on it from the bbc and other quality places but I simply left it.

It's so difficult to see the potential in something if it holds no interest for you whatsoever but this thread has changed my attitude towards social and I'm glad of that.

I still can't stand fb and the last post I made on my page told all my friends what lazy bastards they were and to get a life n go n do something +ve rather than moaning hahaha (they know me well so no one was offended:))

Anyways - the real help to you guys in this rambling post is DO NOT give up, I tweaked a few things on my fb fan page (or whatever it's called) and people have started following it! I set up a twitter acc and am getting a steadily increasing number of followers.

Cool - thanks Crashed, you're making a difference to people. And guys, if this thread isn't working for you, re read it, then test, then re read etc etc. If you do EVERYTHING crashed tells you, it will work.

Yeah I pretty much share those sentiments above. I hate twitter, and don't really get it to be honest, but the effect it has on driving traffic to my site staggers me. My traffic quadruples on days I tweet over days I don't tweet. In that sense twitter seems an incredibly powerful tool.

Still not made any cash though.
 
I have the same thoughts as you about twitter it does make a difference when you tweet.. but not a great difference I will be waiting to see how this twit it away brings traffic... I am going to tweet everyones stuff where I want their ebooks or not to help everyone in the program... I hope others will do the same... for me... :)
 
Yeah,

I am not really plugging with the challenge but this thread has become an enormous asset. Social media has never really been my thing (specially YT - guess I was scared to even try to make a video) but this thread has opened some doors for me.

At the moment don't upgrade anything as statpress or wordpresss breaks when you do. I will give any update on this in a bit

For FB- I inserted a Welcome page plugn/adon which shows a full page banner when they are orgionally directed to my site before they Like it.

I obviously advertise my fb page on twitr and have it linked with my YT account.

From fiver I got a guy with a viral fanpage to shoot out a mention to his 500,000 fans- the post got over 175 likes within 24 hours and my page got 34 likes.

I also tried to create a viral fanpage- generic cr#p really- and have got about 300 likes, once that pics up a bit, then I will start advertising my other fanpage on it.

I feel I prefer fb rather than twitr as people are more likely to read their friends posts on fb, rather than one of the 1000's of people they are following on twitr?
 
I am finding twitter really helpful to view at the moment actually, thats because a lot of my targets are really in my niche and they are more likely to click my links :)
 
Crashed one question again :P

As you know I am working on my second site now. I am on the page where I have to add the Advertise here page. I understood from your previous post that I do not have to make a new Plimus or Max Bounty Account. But does this apply for Clickbank and Adsense too?

In clickbank I have to add tracking code as "Ap" will it mix up if two different sites are managed from the same account?

Also do I need to create a new Ad sense account? If yes then can I use my new address (In Europe) or you think I should use the one in India?

May i just say, i DEEPLY reccommend following other users followers. I have done 3 in a row (so one following x1's followers, one following x2's followers and one following x3's followers) the x1 - x2 - x3 are the examples obviouslyy..

I went from having 211 followers this morning, to 276 so far, and it is NOT STOPPING! my email account is linked to my blackberry, and my phone is going mad at the moment! its unreal. So i recommend following other peoples followers using tweetattacks!

In addition to this, the more followers you have, the more site views you get per tweet. Im currently getting about 20-25 views per tweet, unique, and non-spider (i turned off the spiders part on statpress)
 
You do not need to create new affiliate accounts... In fact its better if you don't as you will reach the payout threshold faster the more advertsing you push towards each account.

In Maxbounty you can use a subID (above where the banners) are to track which site your clicks/conversions are coming from.

In Clickbank you can use the tracking code for this same purpose, I used "Ap" to stand for advertising page... you can change this to whatever you like... Maybe "Apsite2" etc, this just allows you to track where your clicks/conversions are coming from.

In Adsense you can use channels to track where your revenue is coming from. When you create the ad code you get a page called channels, simply create a new channel for that site and use it for all the ads on that site.
 
To unfollow from twitter i use this tool- justunfollow.com you can unfollow 50 users daily and if you upgrade their will be no limit to following and unfollowing.
