Joomla or WP for micro nich site?

I was wondering what you guys use and why?
What are the advantages to using wordpress over joomla and vise versa?

I use wordpress for the plugins already developped. Eaqsier to create a blog than joomla.
wordpress = blog
joomla = all the other website (service, selling, hosting wtc)

So if I am creating a site with just content in hope for adwords, but no CPA or any of that you would suggest wordpress? From what I am understand your saying that joomla is typically used for things that sell vs wordpress for information?

Just use Wordpress.. It is simple to use... Dont waste time on thinking should you use Wordpress or Joomla.. Rather focus on getting traffic and on seo... :)
 
Yeah, if you want to make money just use WP. If you want something more = Joomla

Take Wordpress. You can find many great looking templates for free. There's also plenty of additional plugins available.
It's also easy to manage.

+1 for WP. I'm still a noob, and it's easier to use than Joomla. And you have a lot of plugins very useful for wp ;)
