Buy the domain name from Namecheap and get a good shared hosting plan from either Siteground or Bluehost to start with. Since streaming sites need more resources you will need to upgrade later but the shared hosting is fine in the beginning.

Not only is the selection for plugins/themes very wide, but there’s an already customized option for basically any niche/feature you could want.
Also learning how to create custom features is relatively easy even for beginners. Just takes some time.

Thanks man, well you know i'm going to do the site on WordPress, buy the domain and hosting stuff, i will try to find an API for the movies and you know if you have any advice feel free to tell me cause it's gonna be my first ever website and i'm new in this kind of stuff

That's great mate.
Even I was searching for some similar solution to launch a streaming website. I already have a wordpress website related to movies and films domain. I tried to find the solution for streaming video content but did not end up with any fruitful idea. Did not find any plugin or service for this.
So I am following this thread now, in case you or any other member has any idea then it will be helpful for both of us. Cheers!

Wordpress is very vast in terms of users and usage.
Joomla community is small, so you ll face problems searching for specific use online in joomla
