Joomla or Drupal

    hey guys,

    simple question,
    im trying to achieve sumthin like this

    not the template and design since i can do that myself, im just confused on which 1 to use
    joomla or drupal?

    my expertise lie with wordpress so im really tempted to start off with wordpress but im sure as a full blown social cms wordpress wud have its limitations compared to joomla or drupal... what wud u guys suggest?

    plus if there r any other u think i shud go for like dolphin or somethin else pls do say..

    It would be very easy in Joomla to achieve a site similar to that, but I am unsure if it would be easier or more beneficial to use Drupal as I have never used it. Most of the sites I now build are created on joomla.

    since i have a lil experience with joomla i was thinkin the same, but then i had a look thru drupal and joomla showcase, and mtv and a couple other similar to what im tryin to achieve use drupal... hence the confusion..

    aha.. trust me.. what i need it for.. spammers wnt even be able to see the colors.. :)
    plus im going for joomla, since i want it off the ground soon, and i dun have the time to really learn drupal

    I suggest you use Joomla for this kind of site. There are lots of components useful for such socialization site. Plus the mobility of module positions to any part of your contents: left column, right column, top1, top2, top3, user1, user2, user3, within contents, and a lot more.
