Hey, im looking for a way to either write or an extension / pre made software etc so a front end user can input car reg and mileage similar to auto trader or parkers so they can find out their car / vehicles value

Any tips, suggestions or solutions are REALLY appreciated, ive already tried pinching bits of code but to no avail :D

Well, speaking to someone who used one that isnt available anymore he said that it was an extesnion/plug in and the data was pulled from another valuation site with some data stored maybe cached? on his servers database

Dude, that is a complex algorithm. It scares me when people are asking for help on where to start a complex project like that.

Im interested. Just to let you know Cap or Glass Data is £1000-£2000 a year for a dealer license depending on wheter you are using mobile valuations. A commercial license to reproduce that info is about £30,000 + so you would need to be sure of your data source before you build anything. PM me what you have if you would like me to have a look.

Well no, i'm not asking for some insane programming, admittedly a possibly shouldn't of said "help with writing it" so ignore that. Just if any knows of a solution or extension
