Joint Venture -INDIA preferably

I am from India
The Subject of my Message is a Joint Venture.
During Lockdown I got acquainted with BHW and since that time I am aspiring to work on the internet, Currently I am trying out with CPA and still No Luck.
I have an automobile spares business in Mumbai, which has been badly affected by the lockdown since trains are not regular and big companies not functioning with full power, that made me realise that I have to diversify and internet is the best option. So, Few weeks back I started with Female Cosmetics with the help of some housewife's who are selling the products on commission basis, my Investment, My products, the women's just sell.

#Product :-
-Female Cosmetics, Eyeliner, Mascara, Nail polish + Unlimited more
-Chinese made and imported from China- not by me
-Average to Good to Nice Quality.
- I can even arrange, Lakme, Loreal branded but, we have to buy @bulk to get around 20-25% Discount.
-I can send pics on skype, Watsapp.

#Pros:-
-Hot selling Products.
-Extremely High demand.
-Never Ending requirement.
-We buy @wholesale price but in retail qty, as my good freind Imports from China, he is very helpful to me. ( Just for an example, what would a normal size Nail Polish cost, can you guess) then I'll tell you the purchase price.
- We can buy on credit also for 1 week-1month.

#About Myself
-Dedicated, Hardworking, Disciplined person.
-I have Savings with me to Invest.
-I can do the purchasing, packaging delivering from my End.
-I am a Very Trustworthy person.

#Waiting for a Positive reply.
# Preferably India as I don't want Foreign transaction in My Bank statement.

If you can get legit branded cosmetic products, have you thought about opening your own ecom store in india and promoting that?

You didnt mention what you want your JV to do.

I can arrange branded cosmetics, But very high competition and Lots of Investment, because we will have to buy in Bulk to Get heavy Discount.
Chinese on the other hand have 1000 different brands. You can set your price.
In Hindi we say "JAISA GIRAAK, waisi PUDI"
The type of customer, the type of Bundle you give him .

Have thought about it, but I am not that good at IM, right now plus I have a spare part business to handle full time.

Most likely a fake/first copy product.

Wholesale, and this is a Guess, but 20% definitely

All these products have a heavy markup. We all know that. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a 200% markup. But selling these things online is no cake walk. I suggest you try and do it on a small scale before a dumping a bunch of money on it just because you're getting a good wholesale rate.

Well you have not actually outlined what you want your jv partner to do.

Why dont you ask them to sort the ecom store for you?

Then if you have no real time you just fund the traffic and handle order fulfillment. Thats a fair deal.

That is a very nice idea, i will think about it. But I want a JV expense and profit equal share, so both are equally interested and always ready to work.

To be successful you need to build a team that has a blend of time, skills and money.

You need to be realistic about what you bring for a jv to work.

You admitted you have no time and no im skills, so all you can bring is money and you need your partner to bring the other 2.

If you expect your partner to bring all 3, they dont need you.

I can and will do the purchasing.
and the Base of all.this is purchase. Because I have a freind who imports from.china, he is giving me products a good rate.

Hmmm... the base of building a business is being able to sell.

What you are able to source simply determines the niche you sell in.

You need a jv partner who has the skills to enable you to sell those products b2c online.

Discussing with you has opened up many new thoughts about , future necessary actions that will be required. You are a great help.
Yes that is what will be needed the most, but To be Honest, the price is the USP for Us. And these products are like Hot cake. Just require proper channel.

Exactly, but you dont have the time or skills to open those sales channels.

So, that is what you need your jv partner to do for you

I don't think the price of product will be greater than amount that will be used to get a lead. So ultimately I don't think for your JV, it will matter if you can bring price at even half price of what he/she can.

I think it will be around $0.5-$1 and I expect it to go around $4-$5

My experience is it is the lifetime value of a customer that your profit comes from.

Especially in the beauty niche, a good product, at a good price = a lot of repeat customers.

If your trying to build a retail business in the beauty niche and dont build it based on ltv, your being unrealistic and building it wrong.
