So since my sports betting ebook isn't allowed to be sold on forum because it doesn't fall in the 'internet marketing' category, can I still search for some people to work with in joint ventures for my book?

Just to clarify, you can start a JV thread to look for a partner for, let's say, a horse riding e-book. However, this does not mean your horse riding e-book can be sold in the marketplace here.
