I have an opportunity to join an IT company for seo but I am hesitant to take it because the shift is of 10 hours plus traveling so effectively 11-12 hours. If I were to take the job I would have little time left to do anything else. If I wanted to learn SEO should I join them or take another job with more free time and learn SEO on my own. I also have another job offer but its a nonseo job but it will allow me more free time.

The company seems decent. But I cant decide if I should join them or be confident and work hard on my own using resources such as this forum. The pay is not that great and there isn't much pay difference between the jobs.

My goal with SEO is to make sites, monetize them and may be later on start my own agency.

You should join it and gain experience, remember, hard work always pays off so dont think of working hours for now.

I would say you should get one year experience where you can learn all the things realted to SEO and then after you can implement by your own.

I would definitely take up the offer.

You're not only gaining experience, but they are paying you to do it. It's a no brainer for me IMO.

Just take notes along the way to help you build your agency in the near future.

If the long term goal is to start your own agency then this looks like a good opportunity to gain some experience.
12 Hour days are nothing, if you are working towards your goals.

If 10-12 hour days are not for you then don't even dream of starting your own business...

If you are serious about someday starting an SEO agency then you should jump on the opportunity and work there as much as you can. Go in early. Stay late. Absorb as much info as you can. You will learn much more than SEO...you will learn how to run a business. Both will be required if you want to be successful.
