Google: Sites Wrongfully Using The Google Indexing API Often Are Spammy & Low Quality

Google has said if you use it for other purposes it won't work. Many who have tried it over the years said it works to get your content indexed fast but then it drops out of the index quickly after.

This tool works for every site submitted to it, and then Google puts in place checks to look for the necessary schema to ensure the submitted pages are qualified. Those checks were then lifted from the tool, and once again, you can submit any page on your site and get it indexed again. This is why SEO plugins still add automatic submission via the API, allowing everyone to use it.

Which is very reasonable.

Now this is confusing. Should we use it or not?

I found mix results when used in my websites.

You can use API only for it's intent purpose not for all the indexing things

its intent purpose is only for job listing so I guess 99.5% of the use cases are using it wrong.
