Hello all,
Unfortunately we got hit hard by this update.
I'm trying to figure out what's wrong in both terms of organic search (keywords are being dropped thus impressions and clicks too).
We had a very quick scale in terms of content during the past 3 months, crawling and aggregating content from many companies websites, looking for candidates, and aggregating their content into our own.
Additionally adding Json rich results (google jobs), we were ranking very good and many users we using our site for finding a job.
And then came the update...
The site is still getting crawled and index from Google but the rankings and the keywords have gone downhill.
In addition we have "disappeared" from Google Jobs "boxes" in the first page, despite our JSOND content is in perfect standing - notifying Google with API, etc.. (no changes from when we were ranking top)
*We have NO ads or anything tricky or shady..!
We have already checked:
I'm trying to identify what's wrong and the proceed with fixing it, considering this seems like an algorithmic penalty:
Quite honest, we are very disappointed (years of effort for building the platform).
Has anyone experienced something like this? Any advice?
Gracie!

We have already checked:
- Technical Audit
- Performance
- No manual penalties
I'm trying to identify what's wrong and the proceed with fixing it, considering this seems like an algorithmic penalty:
- Was taking content (job ads) from other employer's sites and putting it into our own (always with a link, for the candidate to apply to the original employer's website)? -- Many Job search sites do this (aggregators)
- Maybe the quick scale up, of our content - was it too aggressive?
- We didn't have time to work on our backlinks - We can do this asap
- Expiring job ads are being temporary redirected to main site and upon renewal, permanent redirects are being used to the new ad (monthly renewals) - I would not consider this bad, and it was based due to technical limitations and possibly "Google likes fresh content"
- Should we drop the domain and start again from scratch but more let's say "slowly"
Quite honest, we are very disappointed (years of effort for building the platform).
Has anyone experienced something like this? Any advice?
Gracie!
