I love Jnews. Its so amazing. And its fast imo if you do it right (WP Rocket and Smush or any other img plugin).
I love the way it is. Tho if you use google adsense, you might want to use auto placement...
But Jnews is still my favourite, beside soledad. But @Festinger wasnt able to get that working without manually editing and also without them calling "home".
But as i use Festingervault always, i stopped using soledad. Maybe i will buy it tho.

if its between those 2, i would pick generate press. it seems to be building up momentum community and support-wise.
then go with jnews. no need to sweat stuff like this at this point in time. you probably have much more pressing decisions and matters if you start a new project. that said, you can also buy a key for both on Festinger and give them a spin before committing if you have the time and are willing.

Problem with these two is that it needs license for demos or plugins for full use. I have tried both in GPL. I like how jnews is. Maybe you are right. Right now logical thing is to use JNEWS, learn more about web design then use generate press as side project. From there, I’ll just transfer my site to GP. I mean GP is limitless, right? I would not know what to make of it until I really know what to make.
