Jnews vs Newspaper vs Generate Press?

generatepress of course. newspaper theme isn't fast enough, and isn't 100% compatible with google's core web vitals.

But does generate press have integration with ads like how it is on jnews?

you can easily add ad codes with its "Elements" feature.

Never used it for Adsense ad, I use it for Amazon blog.
Never had issues displaying Amazon ads though.

I meant paywall like member subscriptions etc. But, thanks, I will look into that.
I am looking to just use it for amazon ads only. From what I researched so far, newspaper theme is lacking. I am now torn between jnews and generate press.

For Amazon I use both Jnews & GP but mostly GP very few in Jnews

Last question, so with the latest jnews update, generate press is still superior? How about the speed? Is GP still faster?
I am going to check generate press now. So far Jnews is my pick. Might change after researching generate press.

As much as I love GeneratePress, if you´re new to WordPress, go with Jnews. GeneratePress is a bit more techy and would make you build all the functions Jnews has by you, the end result would be better, but the time it will take you might not be worth it. So if you´re new to WordPress go with Jnews if you need all the functions that it offers.

Thank you for actually reading the whole thread. I am new to wordpress, and I like how jnews has everything that I need. On the other hand, you are right about it. Took me time to actually integrate ecwid with GP before. I think the first website I did was with hello theme + elementor 10 months ago, but many things have been added to jnews and gp. The problem I was having with gp and jnews back then is I used shared hosting.
Tried both jnews and gp as gpl. But, I am looking to purchase one of them now as I recently upgraded to VPS.

GeneratePress, no debate. The freedom and speed that comes with generatepress is not match-able.

Are you guys coders? I am not a coder, but do you think I can manage? I like how jnews is. They have everything I need. I want of course to use GP instead, but I am not sure if I can replicate Jnews features into GP.
