I'm planning on selling jewelry and create a brand.
I have some kind of an very unique idea which will is guaranteed to get returning customers.

But if it's even worth a try? I mean isn't this niche way too saturated? I also need HQ products are there even Aliexpress suppliers who are available to deliver those quality?

I know that I need to make my own photos to create an actual brand.

Personally while selecting a Niche.
I go with the following two points.
1- The thing I am passionate about.
2- The niche if it's saturated or not.

Personally, I don't recommend this. As there are a lot of people that are already in this.
Find something that has less competition. There are millions that you can easily find out.

I don't believe in this niche anymore, especially because there are too many poor products... The problem is the Facebook grade ; poor quality products have bad consequences now. Facebook can quickly ban your ads

Give it a try even thoug its very saturated niche

good luck with jewelry, i will suggest to pick a unique type of item, otherwise would be another store like the rest

Jewelry is a very broad niche. You can narrow it down and try your luck. Keep in mind, you'll need a good amount of testing money for ads. Don't trust the gurus that dropshipping doesn't require investment.

From my point of view in 2019. There are too many sites with the same products... better suited than a simple dropshipping basic, it would be wise to source a unique product developed in partnership with a supplier. Then create a quality branding around it.

Create value with the unique product who can't be found on other Shopify is one of the keys to still perform in jewel niche (again it's only my personal point of view)

Find a niche in that jewelry category, like "pearls". Find suppliers on Alibaba/Aliexpress and get samples.
Start building your own luxury brand - going for high-quality packaging is a must, do everything you can do to show more value to a ring that you know cost you $10 from China and you wanna sell it under your brand for $50 or more...
Prepare to have a marketing budget and to smart target your audience. Do better and a bit different than your competition and you`ll make money

It is a saturated niche, buy if you find a proper supplier that has high quality products, you may succeed in it. Also, jewelry is a general term, so you have to select some types of jewelry that you like and understand well. Building a brand is very important for the long-term success, and you have to spend a decent amount on marketing and advertising. So, find a good supplier, build a nice website and work on promotion. If you don't try it, you won't be successful. But if you try it, have a strategy and be patient, then there are many chances you'll make it.

no,,,,
Been there done that. Too much competition and too many picky customer (bride-zilla) types,,,,

NO THANKS!

Cheers =)

For shopify - Yes if you have something unique
For ebay - You can do it as part of your store, Don't count on it as niche store.. Especially when it's your only store.

According to my own experience, it is better to target your audience and set decent room for profit so as to maintain the quality. Goog luck OP.
