They call them visitors, are they better than clicks then? Maybe in a sense. Across 15 websites in network on same hosting for my HT local services Im getting 1000 clicks a MO+ and the value PPC is $3,000-4000 mo. So right now I have about 20 websites on that host, though after upgrading my plan I can add more. Its been very effective IMO this time around with the mass production of the lead generation sites.

Best results Ive had. You can have a domain that winds up a dud, one of the sites had 1 visitor. Some others do better for some reason. Ive been making these years though with little success and because of finances had to shutter a few sites over the years. For example .properties went from $9 mo to $49, so theres things to watch for too.

Visitors are probably a better metric than clicks for this, since clicks don't always mean a real visit.

If the sites are consistently bringing in actual visitors and leads, that's a much better sign than traffic numbers alone.
