Hey everyone,

I am currently working on getting some internal tooling up-to-date and I kinda need some help.

What you will be working with:
- Java Spring Boot with all the standard modules
- Liquibase for database migrations on a postgres db
- Writing tests (likely with something like JUnit)
- GraphQL API
- Caching using the default spring functionalities

Some general informations about the project:
- The frontend is in nextjs and currently maintained by me, although it's a backend heavy application experience in nextjs would be a big plus
- It's a micro service architecture
- GraphQL will get federated
- Build via Gitlab CI, deployed as a Docker Container into our Kubernetes Cluster
- Monitoring via an LGTM stack

This probably sounds like complicated technical mumbo-jumbo, however:
- You will get a blueprint for your microservice with working CI/CD pipeline and basic setup, ill help you get setup locally
- You don't need experience in micro-services, just work on "your" the service like on every other service, ill handle the architectural part. If you "only" have experience in normal spring boot, you will still be a great fit, just be honest.
- If you don't have much experience in spring boot but other web frameworks, it doesn't disqualify you, just be honest and know that you will likely have to learn some new things.

Usage of AI: I don't care how you write your code but it must be clean and maintainable. I will notice if you just copy & paste from Gemini.

Payment modalities:
To get started, I will pay you a fixed amount for the first milestone. But I need long term feature and maintenance support. So after we got to know each other, I will pay you a more conventional salary ranging between 500 - 750$/month for a ~40h week with weekly, bi-weekly or monthly payouts (we can start with weekly and increase the interval after trust has been built). Payment only happens in USDT trc20/bep20 crypto. This will be the rough reference point for the initial payment too. I will generally reward good work, but I am not guaranteeing anything. If you already know that 500 - 750$/month are not viable for you long-term, don't even contact me. You are not getting a penny in advance if you are some nobody. If you don't trust my liquidity, we can find a middleman.

Final remarks:
- You must be ready to start working sometime next week
- I will pay for all business related expenses
- I expect that you push your code to our gitlab daily, this is not going to be blackbox style development, I need to be able to see what you are doing and intervene where necessary
- If you currently have another, "normal" job don't hesitate to contact me either, I am flexible and some services require more work then others, we can find something part time as well

When interested, please contact me via PM with the following information:
- Two sentences who you are
- Some bulletpoints / examples on what you have already worked on
- When you can start working
+ any questions you might have

I’ve carefully reviewed your project details, and it sounds like an exciting opportunity to contribute to a technically strong environment. I’m confident I can help you get your internal tooling up-to-date and optimized effectively.

Here’s what I bring to the table:

✅ Java Spring Boot Expertise Hands-on experience with microservices, REST/GraphQL APIs, caching, and modular architecture.

✅ Database Management Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and Liquibase for structured schema migrations.

✅ Testing & Code Quality Skilled in JUnit, Mockito, and CI/CD testing environments to ensure reliable builds.

✅ GraphQL Integration Experience designing and maintaining GraphQL endpoints with federated structures.

✅ DevOps Familiarity Comfortable with GitLab CI, Docker, and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.

✅ Performance & Monitoring Experience with LGTM/ELK stacks and proactive system health monitoring.

✅ Frontend Understanding Working knowledge of Next.js, allowing for smooth collaboration between backend and frontend workflows.

✅ Collaboration & Communication I value clean documentation, transparent communication, and delivering maintainable, production-grade code.

Even if your current architecture is complex, I can adapt quickly I’ve worked on similar backend-heavy systems with modular service designs. I’m confident we can get your tooling fully updated and optimized efficiently.
Would you like to schedule a quick chat to go over your current architecture and priorities

I’ve read through your project details carefully, and it’s a perfect fit for my skill set. With 6+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, I specialize in Java Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, and modern frontend frameworks like Next.js exactly what your project stack involves.

Here’s how I can help:

⭐ Deep experience with Spring Boot (REST & GraphQL APIs, Liquibase, Caching, JUnit testing)

⭐ Familiar with microservice architectures and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI)

⭐ Skilled in Docker and Kubernetes deployment for scalable environments

⭐ Strong background in PostgreSQL schema design, query optimization & migrations

⭐ Knowledge of Next.js for seamless frontend integration and API connection

⭐ Experience working with monitoring stacks (Grafana, Loki, Promtail, Tempo)

⭐ Clean, maintainable code following best practices with clear documentation

Even if it’s a complex multi-service project, I can quickly adapt to your existing blueprint and architecture focusing on developing robust, testable, and efficient microservices
I value clear communication, reliability, and teamwork, and I’m confident I can help you bring your internal tooling up to modern standards.
