Can you check how many people did you follow within a month from 08-05 to 08-06 (today) and get back to me with number please :)

Go to the follow tool, results and just click blue right arrow on the bottom few times to get to 8-5-2019 date, you should have a number on the left to the date.

Nobody knows for certain and neither do I, but what I am experiencing with my accounts seems to be related to monthly limits. It's only my experience, everybody's else can be different but there is too much proof that this theory works with me.
Right now, every account under ~6100 monthly follows can follow normally, account with something like 9000-10000 can't.
So I'm checking what's the most I can go for. Is it 7500, 8000, 7000. I'll see

Freaking shit, I literally was on around 3k\month until I took the setting from the OFFCIAL website of jarvee..

I am just checking account that has 7400 follows within a month.
If it can follow, then the theory of 6000 can be debunked because it doesn't apply to everybody. (age of the account maybe plays some role too)
 
Ok so I just tried to follow with an account that has 7065 follows within a month and it failed. Rest that has around 6000 and less can follow normally.
(remember that it can only apply to me, maybe age of the account is the factor and overal trust of it)
 
Not a 6000 limit just a hard block. Will last for 4-7 days.

Experienced this on accounts that I grew manually with mobile device.

Hopefully but either way there was a reason accounts got a hard block. And I am leaning towards a monthly follow actions (not limit) because the accounts that followed 7k people + within a month got and still have follow block, the rest can follow normally without any blocks and there are no exceptions. (at least in my individual experience)

I don't think we will have a clear definition of what is going on, the update is settled.

It may be such an issue, that they will abandon ship.

IG can't go on like this. even for its end users. Just would not be a stable platform if people can't grow.
 
Just wait till the ban is lifted, not much you can do.
 
How long does the ban takes? I have 3 accounts, 2 bans are lifted but on my most important account there is still a ban
?
