iwriter suck

It's been years since I used iWriter last time but it's awesome if you need content ASAP.

Pretty much all the content from iwriter isn't written by humans. It isn't good even for web 2.0s and ou can make beter content using softwares and WordAI or something similar.

You will NOT get good quality, ever. I actually did write on it for maybe a week. One idiot turned down a 1,000 word article about chameleons. Written in perfect English. I didn't know anything about chameleons but obviously he was a cheapskate expecting Examiner tier viral articles written by experts on the topic for $6.

I don't think luck came into it.

Of course I was selective with what projects I took, that's common sense. And if I was doing it purely for the money, I would have been even more selective.

I also made sure I delivered well within time, wrote more words than required and always added a personal note to the requester at the end of the article. I also let them know I would do any revisions required (which never happened).

At the end I was getting private article requests, which also paid more.

And looking at the site today, the Elite Plus level pays double the Elite level, so it would be even easier to earn decent money there.

So it doesn't sound great for the writers, but for the people requesting the articles it is quite a good deal isn't it? Only pay for the article if you're happy with it. I've found that there are some ok writers at premium level as well, it depends what you want the content for.

Just because your article got rejected, doesn't mean everyone else is rubbish.

iWriter has an Elite Plus ranking now and there is no way someone can achieve that by writing shite.

I just had a look and at Elite Plus, there is a 500 word article being requested that pays $97.20 - are you seriously suggesting someone will pay that much for poor quality?

I was Elite. Elite Plus didn't exist back then.

I did everything you did. I also asked for a chance to revise each article if the requester isn't satisfied by adding a note at the beginning of each article. I got many private requests as well and had a 90% approval rate. But the 10% of articles rejected equates to more than 45 hours of wasted time and effort and annoyed me more than the approved articles pleased me.

I guess we just had a different overall experience then.

I do remember getting a 1 star rating for no reason as I was about to step up to Elite and that did frustrate me, but overall my experience was positive.

Perhaps you're right actually - the fact I wasn't doing it for the money may have made a difference to my viewpoint.

What exactly do you expect? You do realize that even $10 for 500 words is a crappy rate, right?

A lot of you guys who are complaining about the quality need to understand that the site is anally raping the writers. Why the #$# would a native writer work for $2-$10 an article? Do you realize that writing is hard? It's work.

You guys who expect quality for peanuts need a reality check.

The ONLY people who benefit from sites like these are the owners.

For writers its not good but for buyers are good option because you can always reject article if you dont like it...
 
I was also writing for iWriter and i can say it's a 'ok' site. Yes, you will find buyers with lots of requests and instructions on how to write the article, but also there are some that know their position and know what can they expect for the price. Higher rank - higher price - higher quality of the article.
I personally had most of the times good experience with the buyers. If there is one thing that is bad about them is their support. I had some problems with them regarding a payment and after 1-2 mails, they didn't respond at all.
