I got an email from iwriter saying you could be premium or elite in just 1 day if you pay them $148 and write them 3 articles. Do you guys think this is legit or a scam? I am a very good writer and I know I should get elite but If they are just doing this to collect $148 from everybody, I would be pissed. Usually, you have to write 30 articles for next to nothing and get rated almost all 5 stars to get elite. This seems like a shortcut but its really not that much shorter.
Lets say you pay the $148 and write 3 articles. So far you have written 3 articles and you are down $148. ASSUMING you get elite status, you need to write another 15 articles just to get your money back. In reality, you aren't getting "your money back", you are getting paid for your time. So you have to write 18 articles to be back at square 1 with an Elite account. I almost think it would be easier to write the extra 12 articles for low paying people instead of those 18 you have to write for people who are going to expect a Pulitzer prize winning piece. What do you guys think?
