damn, im wasting years of life on this - look when I registered! and results are yet to come

Though i would also save 10+ years of life by not having to work if i had passive income

I think im doing my last attempt at SEO

Dude ! U can't relying on that one thing "Seo" do something else at the same time

That's good , did u had any success with Seo? If yes u should keep trying

Sell the idea of selling SEO.. imho if u bought it, u can sell it !

Not even one result? Or not enough results to please you? You also say that you have a 'secret' method for traffic, which evidently is not working for you. Maybe you need to ditch the secret stuff and do something else.

All said and done, if you've already given up mentally, why bother with the one last attempt man? Save yourself the effort.

By your logic, no new company/entity/individual who started after 2016 should have succeeded and no new company can ever succeed in the future? If that is really true, no new company will bother with online promotions and stuff. They'll all go back to the old brick and mortar business models of yore. The internet that we see now would be redundant. Stop being silly and do the right stuff.

of course success is still possible
i think lot of seo success is about choosing niche - depending on it you will need less or more strong links to rank
from first point of view many niches look profitable but then you try them, months pass by, nothing happens, and then you try another - whole process is extra time-consuming

Yes, choosing the right niche is important and even then it takes a while to get established. It also depends on how static or dynamic your work is. In the current scenario, I don't think a static set up works. Back in the day, it was possible to pick a niche (say shaving razors, for example, which I actually did profitably), create a site with 5 articles, do the regular SEO, link building stuff and leave it aside. It was enough to bring in decent returns. Now, I can't do that because there's not only too much competition, the competitors constantly update their sites with dynamic content, continuously work on their SEO, to keep their sites in view. If I have to compete, I have to be ready to do the same amount of hard work (if not more). That is the only thing we need to understand. I could still make it work despite the competition but it would take a while. The days of immediate results are gone.

doing the same thing over and over , expecting different results is the first sign of ....

try a new approach.. something completely new.
