You can try playing with your Title and Meta Description to attract more clicks. This can also move you up in the SERPS for that keyword. In your Title and Description, don't forget to add keywords that are related to the keyword you're trying to rank for. I've done this successfully for a number of keywords.

I had actually messed up already on a bunch of sites (by looking at broad matches instead of exact matches) and ended up third on the front page but still only got 500 visitors monthly instead of 4k. Learned my lesson there.

I recently changed the titles on my autoblogs, hoping that it would increase traffic by attracting clicks like you said. I'm still waiting on the results for that since I made the change just recently. I don't see a considerable increase in traffic or anything though.

Maybe I should also mention that the CTR on my sites is less than one percent and is another reason why I'm not making any money The ads are placed above the fold and on the side panels and on the banner but they're not performing. I'm using the Open Air palette on a 336x280, 468x60 and 250x250.

I recommend working on a couple of keywords to see which method works best for you, and then apply them to the rest of your keywords. It takes time to see results, at least 1-2 weeks. That is if you use only profile backlinks. That's all I do and I'm getting good results each time. I move up in the SERPS at least 1-5 spots. Doing another xrumer run to see what happens. If I don't move up anymore, I'm gonna do some sort of link wheel strategy.

Yeah but being down 200 and not seeing results doesn't feel good. It makes me want to give up instead of spending more.

Don't give up. Just give it some time. Build more 'non-profile' backlinks and work your way up the SERPs. if you get in the top3 spots, I guess you'll see some cash.

$200 in the grand scheme of things isn't a big outlay, but I get what you're saying. Spending money and seeing no return can be disheartening. That being said, you have to be more patient as SEO can take time.

As others have suggested, try and focus on a handful of websites.

If you're on page one for high search volume keywords...well, first of all you need to get to higher on page one. Most of the traffic is in the first 5 spots, or even the first 3. Second, you need to make sure your title and meta description are enticing to the searchers so they actually click through to your website.

Doing all these blasts are all well and good, but if you're waiting to get your backlinks indexed naturally, this can take time. (and obviously unless they are indexed they don't really have any seo value yet!) Pick out a few of your backlinks everyday and start actively promoting these backlinks to get indexed by the search engines. You can use the RSS method that's been posted somewhere on this forum.

Bottomline though mate, and no offence, but you've done a bit of work, and only a bit of work! If it was as easy as investing $200 and seeing a nice quick and easy return, don't you think everybody would be doing it?!

It takes a little bit more than that, so be patient and start working on your strategy a bit more.

Success doesnt come overnight....patience and trial and error is what makes you $$$$
Some suggestions from my end
Try high pr profile links with xrummer.
Use scrape box to submit to blogs which are not spammed and are do follow.

Dont try to build 100k backlinks...might get banned...i havnt got this issue yet but still why take changes if you want things to be whitehat and long term...try building a master list and bl
ast 1k links a day ..consistently..

I dont think splitting your time over several websites is a good idea, its a lot better to pick one niche, research loads of related keywords, build a website, create unique content or spin related articles, monetize the website with adsense, cpa or clickbank etc, use a tool like scrapebox and your researched keywords to find blogs to comment on with anchor text, then use the rest of the time to open forum accounts and place anchor text links in your profile signatures. Then ping the backlinks using links2rss and posting an article on wordpress with links to the various links2rss produced rss links for better indexing.

Just focus on one thing and go for it, is my advice.

yeah man just be patient keep on working at it, see what you are doing and how u can improve....takes some some time, before u know it those $200, will be replaced

how about 100 niche autoblogs? it will 150$

Thanks a lot for the help guys! Another thing im worried about is the ROI on these. I might go all out, spend a lot of time on the blogs and barely make 2 bucks a day after spending 300 hours Anyone actually able to make a good profit from their sites?

The idea of autoblogs is to actually go for quantity not quality. If you want to spend 300 hours on 3 autoblogs then simple maths can show that:

300 hours X 5 bucks per hour(for some is high for some is extremely low). Its 1500 bucks. With 1500 go to flippa and buy a ready website that gives some income. I dont add the money that you have already paid for links, submissions etc.

There are very good autoblogs but its the minority and some of them get massive UV. I am not expert in autoblogs and i bet that some people that have already posted know way much more but maybe you should not try to build micro niche autoblogs. Build niche autoblogs.
