I have had my site up for about 2 weeks and haven't made a single sale... I have a landing page (a good one) with links to 2 products (2 steps to a regimen) for teeth whitening. I'm getting about 100 views a day to my landing page, but haven't had a SINGLE click on either of my affiliate links on my landing page. If I could get ONE sale, I could recoup my costs for my whole campaign thus far. Can anyone help me? I've tried tons of methods, like Twitter, Bookmarking sites, youtube, etc. Just can't get a single sale... :(

what makes you so sure your landing page is good? what are you basing that on?

Try posting it in the 'volunteers needed' section of craigslist. Like you are a dental office offering a brand new teeth whitening product that has shown better results than anything on the market, free to the first 50 applicants.

When they email you, give them - I'm sorry, the response was so overwhelming from our ad that we actually don't have any spots left. You can still try out the product here(insert affiliate link). You would just need to pay for shipping to try it out. -

Of course add your own spin to this, but I hope you get the jist of where this is going. You should get conversions if you post in big cities, and get a bunch of replies.

You haven't had a single click? Make sure that your links are correct and working, try clicking on one yourself and see if the click shows up in your stats.

I love BigHustlah's tipp. Don't be discouraged of not making a sale yet. The stuff you posted above to get traffic isn't really that targeted. Post on related forums do some Yahoo ans*ers and some stuff to get more targeted traffic.

No offense but if people would be discouraged by not getting a sale with a hundread views a day over the time of two weeks I bet a lot less people here would be making money. Problem is to get the targeted people. Either you pay for those (wouldn't recommend that for starters) or you work HARD for it.

Don't give up. Getting a hundread views to your website a day doesn't mean shit. Though in extreme cases people can live off a hundread "very" targeted visitors a day.
A lot of people here can drive a shit load of traffic to a site in no time. Not talking about bot traffic, autosurfs, chinese traffic or any of that kind of stuff. Hell it's not that hard getting like 10k people to your site a day from scratch. Problem is to make them targeted.

that's because social networking traffic tends to convert very poorly. Google adwords converts much better, but it can be vedy vedy expensive. They key is to find a middle ground.

I don't bother with CPA, anyway. I only used zip & email but that was years ago. I sometimes filled them out myself but even that grow boring.

Website, so what do you do as an alternative to CPA? Just about everyone on BHW has some sort of CPA going on.

Yeah website, what do you use as an alternate to CPA's, always looking to any working methods.

If your getting 100 REAL visitors per day, you WILL be getting clicks, I can't see why you aren't, if you send me a link to your sales page, I'll give you some tips on helping improve your clicks, thus increasing your sales, keep going though mate, you'll make that 1 sale sooner or later, then it's just a case of scaling it up, then getting to the point where your able to automate everything :)

I'm not actively trying to make money, but promoting a white hat content website. Once I get enough consistent traffic ll monetize it with CPA & PPC.

Without solid, loyal traffic making money with CPA tends to be difficult. The only time I was able to make OK money with CPA was on one website that was getting 6K uniques a day.

Adsense tends to work much better than CPA for low traffic websites.

your landing page probably isn't too convincing, imo....
imo, all eyes and links should lead to the offer...

You say that you have a good landing page, but how do you know? The key to cpa is to drive targeted traffic to a landing page that converts. The way to know what converts is testing. Some of the better looking pages don't convert as well as some pages that I have made that in my opinion don't look as good. The key is testing and seeing what converts. Once you find targeted traffic that converts to a landing page, remove what doesn't work and scale up what does work. Rinse and repeat the method. If you get frustrated and give up, you will never get anywhere. Trust me, not all of the ideas are winners. Many times, I thought I had a good one and it fell flat. However, one winner really makes stuff worth it.

As for people acting there is nothing other than cpa, I can't believe that. There is all types of ways to make money other than cpa.

1. I know that it is possible to make good money with websites with adsense.

2. I myself run multiple stores that I run entirely with dropshipping and they do well. I also do custom signs and tshirts that I sell through websites.

3. Cookie stuffing has been effective for people.

4. Autoblogging works for some people with a variety of ways to monetize.

5. You could write ebooks and sell them at various places.

6. Build websites and sell them.

7. Use the search feature here and find one of a hundred other ideas and try it.

I have the feeling the most of ppl have there no clue how to make bucks on the internet :-)

Could be a silly suggestion, but if you haven't got a single click, are you positive that your affiliate links are correct? A small typo could be costing you a lot of money.
