Hey there.
I WILL be taking the advice given here and applying it. My future's in your hands, lol.
I used to be in the ORM game (and I used to do SEO a long time ago), but I've decided to create a new business. I've got two months until my birthday to get this going before my wife makes me get a real job again.
So I have a very unique business that's in the reading niche. There is a good selling point about the business that will eventually let me get local business advertising revenue and more, but I can't add that approach until I get some organic traffic.
At the moment, the site has several first chapters from authors with permission already. At this point, I could monetize it perfectly if I could just get ~300 views a day (~6,000 a month). I have some connections to a few publishers that would pay quite a bit to advertise their books on the site if I just had that amount of traffic.
If you were in my shoes and you had to get that amount of real relevant traffic in a month, what would be your approach? Normally I wouldn't ask for too much assistance, but time is definitely against me and I want to make sure I nail this.
Would you just write some large relevant articles and hope the keywords I picked work out? I definitely know I need to get some good backlinks among other things. Is there anything more I can do at the moment?
I also don't have ANY money to spend as my business account is negative due to the Google Eddystone annoucement killing my clients. Any assistance is GREATLY appreciated.
