Hi guys, I've been reading the forum for a number of months now but this is my first post so be gentle please! I'm pretty new to the whole making money online concept but over the last few months I've been making money from a referral/affiliate site called freebiejeebies.

Basically the whole concept revolves around getting people to sign up and complete an offer, when they get a number of friends to do the same they can claim a PS3, Xbox, Iphone etc. Now basically my method of getting referrals through the site is to be placed as high as possible for the latest trends.

For example the new big gadget to be released will be the PSP Go, so if you are able to use SEO and get yourself near the top of the listings for "Free PSP Go" then you are set to generate a lot of sign-ups and offer completions because people are desperate to get the console for free.

I suppose the best thing about this method for me of making money is that you don't actually have to put too much effort into it to make it a success. If you already have a highly ranked site, all you need to do is add a link with an item you think your target audience would appreciate and hey presto you're good to go.

For people that want to make more money out of the site, you can try adding youtube videos, social networking sites, basically anywhere you can think of could be a gold mine for generating referrals.

What is excellent about freebiejeebies is that you can choose to get one of the products listed on their sites or you can get a bank transfer. The bank transfer equates to £17 per referral. So if you're getting a couple of referrals a day the money can really add up!

I'm sure there will be many of you who doubt whether my method of earning money is legitimate well I was sceptical at the start but there were a few things that helped ease my mind:

    1) New York Times (http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=9400E2D71130F935A15751C1A9629C8B63) They featured an article on this kind of marketing.

    2) BBC Newsnight Program http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=edkSLnvO_So

All of these resources helped to put my mind at ease. Freebiejeebies also operate a no-spam policy so your email inbox won't be swamped with unwanted adverts about viagra!

Many offers that are available for people to complete are well known companies like Lovefilm, William Hill, Napster and Asda. They vary from FREE trials to spending £5 or more so it should be easy to target. There are plenty of others available and most of them are worldwide so you don't just have to target the UK and USA but also countries like the Phillipines or India can complete the site as Freebiejeebies are now worldwide.

If you have any questions about this just let me know or if you'd like to help me out drop me a PM.

Hopefully this will be of some use to some members who have struggled in the past to earn money. I was one of those people and now I'm just waiting for my brand new PS3 Slim to be delivered!

    Good luck guys
